This home feels like Luxury in the rain forest with a stunning pool. There are 5 bedrooms all with their own en suite bathroom and their own balcony. The house is set on 1 acre of lush tropical forest with exotic fruit trees and flowers and a 13 meter salt water pool. Your rental has a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals. There are plenty activities to do on the island, we'll help you organize tours during your stay if needed. You can also just lounge around the pool to the sound of the wind and the singing birds. There is a cool breeze at all times which keeps the place very comfortable and we now have air condition in the living room and 4 of the 5 bedrooms ( note that we charge $15US/day /room for AC as electricity is very expensive on the island so a total of $50US per day for the whole villa if you want AC but you can choose not to have it). There are ceiling fans and mosquito nets in all the bedrooms; but in any case do not forget to bring bug repellents as we are in the tropics and suntan lotion. We also suggest you bring a pair of light long pants, long sleeves and socks for the bug times (4pm-7pm) which is at dusk if you desire to stay outside the house. After 8PM it is lovely outside and you can have dinners on the terrace and enjoy the constant lovely breeze. We vacation four times a year in the apartment below usually when we don't have guests but we are totally separate from the rental; the rest of the time we live in New York city. Considering you should NOT drink the water from the tap in St Lucia, we offer a 2 gallon drinking water from the best spring on the island (2 miles away)at arrival as courtesy of the house but when it runs out you can do the refilling of the 5 gallons bottle yourselves and that will cost you US$3.50 it's on the way to Vieux Fort( i put a picture of the place in the photo gallery so you can spot it in a car). Albina the property manager/cleaning lady will be around the property everyday for a couple of hours and will do a light cleaning ( broom and dust, please wash your own dishes or use the dishwasher). A change of towels is done every 3-4 days and a big cleaning with change of linen is done every week. For short term rental the cleaning fee is included in your rental. For longer stays over 7 days we ask for an extra $180 US per week towards cleaning that we collect in cash at arrival. If you wish to hire Albina everyday to do the cleaning, making your beds, washing your clothes, washing dishes for a half day of work, she is available for $38US per day that you can pay in cash at arrival as well. Just let us know ahead of time.
