There were lots of rooms and comfy beds. The linens were plush, but the finishings we're outdated and there were stains and scratches on the furniture and walls. The closer we looked, the more we found lacking. Some of the electrical outlets were in dangerous locations. We did have a great time, but for the price, it should have been immaculate.

This is an amazing property, very roomy and secluded. We had a blast. It is close to many outings including wineries, casino lake Sonoma, healdsberg etc. it was a steep road getting to the property which I warned all guests about before hand and there are plenty of signs, but the seclusion was worth the drive. The owner was always responsive with our questions, there was a black out during our stay which was pg&e and she communicated with us during that as well. We enjoyed the decor very cool art through out but If you are looking for a super updated modern home this isn’t it. We had a great weekend and this property definitely was the core ! This place is very spacious throughout with plenty of bedrooms. The dining room and yard has a spectacular view of the valley with the top of Mt. St. Helena in the background. The pool and spa were very nice amenities and the gas grill and gas firepit were really nice. There's plenty of outdoor seating around the pool and firepit. There is plenty of privacy and next to no traffic. The road to get to the place does go over gravel/dirt for part of the way so your car will get dirty but that's a small price to pay for the seclusion. Loved it and would stay again!

Beyond the long steep access road, this was a pleasant place for our 3 generational family, with abundant side trips. Beautiful views of the Alexander valley.

First, the positives: This house was roomy and the view was great. With that being said, there were many things that weren’t great. The windows were dirty, there were cobwebs everywhere, there was mold in the bathtubs and hairballs on the carpet. There was peeling paint and handles missing on dresser drawers and closet doors. One of the banisters was quite wobbly.. We’ve rented dozens of homes from VRBO over the years and have never encountered one that was so dirty and poorly maintained. The owner seemed quite surprised when I contacted her and provided her with photos. She had apparently recently moved out of state and was unaware of how dirty and poorly maintained the house had become. She assured me that she would address all of the issues. We requested a partial refund, which we felt was warranted under the circumstances, but she declined.

This property was stunning and unique, and the PERFECT place. Communication was on point, the place was clean, and we had such a lovely time :)

Danielle is an amazing host with great communication and a great house! This place was very spacious but also very cozy. It was raining our entire stay but that did not stop us from enjoying everything the property has to offer, from the hot tub to the hiking trail! Great property, you will never be bored.
