The castle, which dates back to the 17th century, features beautiful artwork, huge grounds, and a Discovery Center. Chesterfield, noted for the crooked spire of St. Mary and All Saints Church, is only 11 kilometres (7 miles) away. This region is famous for its varied scenery and great walking options because of its location between the Peak District National Park and Sherwood Forest.
