We rented this property while we visited our son in college. Such a charming and cozy home, with lovely little touches to make it a very comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped.

The cottage was super cute and had everything we needed for a quick visit with family. Location is a little isolated but not terrible. The lake is right down the road and in warmer months would be an easy walk

A nice trip!
My family had a good stay at this cute little house! It's only a one minute drive down the hill or a short walk to a really nice beach with plenty of parking (but no bathroom). The neighborhood is super cute and the local farmstead is just a quick walk up the street. My son actually learned to swim while we were there!
I would suggest the owners/cleaner pay slightly more attention to cleanliness -- there were lots of dead bugs squished on the ceiling of the bunk room (it looks like they were sprayed with something but then never wiped off) and the front door shade was broken and made the house look uninviting when we first drove up. Also, the screen door to the backyard was impossible to open and close. Otherwise, the beds were comfy, the backyard was a nice place to have breakfast, the kitchen was cute, the light in the kids room was super fun, and we had such a nice, relaxing stay.

Great family stay in Connecticut
Great place for a family, especially with teenagers. Ping pong table and multiple TVs were a big hit with the kids. Beautiful deck for stargazing and enjoying a morning cup of coffee. Great location with lots to do nearby. Lake Hayward is beautiful. Great farmstand just up the road. We had a great week here. Great base of operations for a family visit to Central Connecticut. Thanks for a great stay.

Relaxing Lake Vacation Home
The Stargazer lake cottage is comfortable and cute! Fantastic deck, cozy sunroom, laundry on site. Great location in the Hayward Lake community.
