Fun and fabulously Florida funky townhome right on Indian Rocks Beach! Our 2 bedroom PLUS LOFT unit has everything that you need for a relaxing and enjoyable beach vacation. We offer 2 private covered parking spaces right outside our front door, free wifi, a heated pool, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, rafts, beach buckets, a bbq grill, and comfortable bedding and casual furniture, 3 flat screens and much, much more so that you can relax! Our balcony is the best place to sip a libation and enjoy the sunsets. Our small, gated community of only 24 units offers a tranquil setting for those that want to enjoy a day at the beach, and then rest without the congestion and traffic noise from busy neighboring beaches.

Something Fishy Vacation 2021!
Awesome vacation 2021!! ❤
This is our 2nd year staying at IRB and we consider Something Fishy our home away from home!
The condo is tastefully decorated and very clean, alsohas everything that you could possibly need for a vacation at the beach, all the way down to the toys for kids to play with on the beach.
We love staying here, sitting on the balcony listening to the waves early morning and late night, and sitting on the beach surf fishing at night.
Patti is wonderful to work with and is very responsive to any messages or questions that we have had, I absolutely love talking to her.
I highly recommend anyone to stay at Something Fishy for their future vacation to the beach, you will love it!

Wonderful beach condo with great location
We absolutely loved our stay at Something Fishy Beach Condo. We appreciated the close walk to the ocean, which kept our family entertained for hours. The condo was well stocked for our family of six with lots of dishes, beach toys, games, and books. The beds were comfortable and spacious for our big family. Patti was excellent to work with and communicated well. We'd definitely go back!

BEST FAMILY VACATION EVER!
From the very start of our booking, Patti was incredibly communicative, courteous, and very instrumental in us being able to plan activities in advance of our visit due to her vast amount of local knowledge.
Upon arrival, we found the unit to be spotless, sanitized, and appointed with everything that we needed for our trip from beach chairs to boogie boards! The beds are VERY comfortable, and the space is laid out so that those that choose to sleep in are not bothered by those that get up early to make coffee and head to the beach for sunrise.
The balcony offers a beautiful view of the beach, where we enjoyed many sunset cocktails and early morning coffee.
The covered parking is a bonus, and the complex has a heated pool a few steps from the unit.
WE CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN NEXT YEAR! Book early or you won't get the week that you want!

Bedbugs and failure of owner to compensate
I booked this condo as a Christmas present to my 5 children (14, 13, 11, 7 and 6) in late October/early November. As fate would have it, my husband, their father passed away and was buried 2 days before our trip the week before Christmas. When we arrived, everything seemed great. The place was in need of some updates but overall we were happy, especially with the location to the beach. After the first day, my daughter woke up with bites all over her. After quickly inspecting the place for bedbugs and not initially finding any, I chalked it up to hives given the incredible amount of stress she was under (this is the child who discovered her father). The next day the bites continued until the 3rd day. At this point I was convinced it wasn’t hives and had to be bedbugs. I searched again and found the bugs in her bed. I have photos and video documenting it.
I immediately contacted the host. Additionally, I began washing ALL of our belongings (twice in the hottest water/dry cycles) and treating our suitcases. This was necessary to do so as not to transfer any bugs to our future accommodations. While clothes are washing, I am on the hunt for new accommodations for the 6 of us for that day. I mistakenly told the new place about the bedbug exposure and was immediately refused admittance. Needless to say, I couldn’t mention it to the next place. The new accommodations for the remainder of our trip cost nearly $1,000 but I had no other choice. I was thousands of miles away from home with 5 grieving children. I left the house in excellent condition, removed all trash and piled all towels and most sheets (minus the two beds that had bedbugs) for the host. I admit I did not hang up the pool tools in the shed as we had to leave, in the middle of a storm with tornado warnings in haste.
The owner assured me that she would have it inspected and we would come to some amicable agreement.
Later that week, Patti, the owner stated that there did not present a bedbug infestation, that we must have brought the bugs in with us and she would not be returning any money to me other than the $400 deposit. She claimed she didn’t have to return that in full because of the pool toys but that she would given the circumstances.
Over the following few weeks I tried contacting her asking to come to some other agreement. I had offered to split the difference since we both suffered a loss, even though I believe I paid way more then she did. Eventually she stopped responding.
I’m not here to convince anyone to book or not book with Patti but in my opinion someone who looks out solely for themself is not someone I would want to do business with again. Not that I’m looking for handouts but she had zero sympathy on me, my children or our situation. I try to keep my side of the street clean in every interaction. I’m not sure if she could say the same (I have more pictures and video but the files were too big to load)

This claim was never documented and validated by the State Inspector that entered the unit upon the report of this guest, and has since been dismissed by the State as a false claim. I had suspicions, especially since we had no claims prior or after this supposed "incident." As was deduced, the guest was merely attempting to avoid paying for the booking and made false claims after staying in the unit for almost the entire time. Had there been an issue, reporting the problem upon arrival or in a reasonable amount of time would have given merit to the situation. Our unit has been back to back bookings before and after this guest's visit, with no report of any similar issue.

Just what we needed!
Something Fishy is clean, fun, beachy and absolutely the best medicine! We are locals, but just needed a getaway due to this COVID lockdown stuff. Fresh air, lots of sunshine and perfect location. This is advertised as a condo, but it is not. It's better than a condo, it's a town home in a gated community on the beach. We were able to walk out the door, grab the provided chairs and wander to the shore (which is literally...right there).
Patti is so personable and makes sure you have everything you need. We brought clothes, drinks and a little bit of food. Anything else we needed was already provided. Beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, coolers, skin boards, fishing poles, games, books. I could go on and on! She's thought of every little thing that you could possibly need for an amazing, stress-free trip. Location is super close to restaurants & bars. We just parked at the town home and walked the entire time.
Early morning coffee on the patio, beach filled days, fun in the pool and beautiful sunsets...what more could you need?
I can't say enough about this place and HIGHLY recommend!!!

Patty rescued us!!
Something Fishy was the best thing that ever happened to me!! Lol, we were visiting friends for a birthday in an overcrowded situation. No comfy beds no warm showers and and hour from the beach. We spent the day and a night for the birthday. The next morning I found Patty and she rescued us and provided a place that was the absolute best beach home to relax and have quality beach time!! Thank you for your beautiful home and personality!! Everything was comfortable warm and inviting. Well furnished, maintained, & clean. And the beds are great!! Looking forward to many years of memories made here!!

Lovely Beach Condo
We were thrilled with our stay at this beach condo....literally steps away from the beach. We didn't have the warm weather we had hoped for but enjoyed each day to the fullest. Beds were very comfortable after our busy days-wish we had more time to spend there to explore more of the area. Many thanks to Patti for extending her lovely beach home ...it was absolutely perfect! 😎

Fabulous
We had a wonderful stay at Something Fishy. The condo was beautiful as was the view from it. Just a few steps to the sand and we were where we wanted to be! Patti provided many extras for us to feel free to use which really helped with our luggage contents. We loved that the Kookie Coconut was just a block or so down the beach. The small and big kids enjoyed walking there for burgers and of course ice cream. Indian Rocks Beach was noticeably slower paced than the neighboring Clearwater Beach. We liked that IRB was less busy and yet were just a few miles from limitless shopping and activities. We would highly recommend Something Fishy for your family to stay when wanting to visit the beautiful sand beach if the gulf.

Wonderful stay! Beautiful condo, couldn't have asked for more.
Something fishy is very clean and had a beautiful ocean view. The owner Patty was very accommodating and was just a text away. The ocean/beach was clean and fantastic for shell finding. The people were friendly and the food was awesome in the area. Will definately be coming back.

Great location, wonderful stay!
My husband and I spent the Thanksgiving holidays and our 1st anniversary with dear friends at Something Fishy. We loved the decor, the cozy, warm atmosphere! The location was great. Just steps to the beach, walking distance to restaurants and a very short drive to grocery shopping, etc. Patti is a very attentive, responsive owner and makes sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay! Would definitely book again!
