Unlike most cabins in the area, our cabin is right in Alpine Helen. Located on the Chattahoochee River, it's just a short walk into downtown Alpine Helen and the Oktoberfest "Festhall". Built in 2009, this is one of the newest luxury cabins in Helen.
For about the same price as a motel suite, you get 2 big bedrooms, a living & dining room, full kitchen, and two bathrooms with jetted bathtubs. Best of all, you get the privacy that a motel room could never offer. The cabin also has free WiFi and three smart tvs.
The covered riverside deck looks over the Chattahoochee River. The street side view looks over horse pastures and toward historic Hamby Mountain. Located within walking distance to restaurants, shops and activities in Helen, the cabin is also just minutes from Unicoi State Park, ...

Family visit in Helen Georgia
The cabin was awesome and it had everything we needed. It was so clean and beds were so comfortable . If you book this cabin you will not be disappointed.

Cozy retreat
Large, cozy cabin with a beautiful view of the river from the deck. My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Helen mostly because of our accommodations. We felt at home there which was important to us. The owner is extremely helpful and accommodating. He made sure we had instructions for every detail of the cabin, internet, etc. Hope to visit again soon. Thanks again David.

Second time to this cabin
We love this cabin! This was our second trip to Helen and our second trip to this cabin! Beautiful cabin on the river and walking distance to the town. Absolutely perfect!! We will be staying here every time!

Perfect location!Beautiful cabin and views:)
This location is close to town you can walk right to the shops in a few blocks. The cabin is beautiful and clean. The views are great from the deck. There is a pasture with horses across the street out back. It is a bit steep but you can get right down to the river and it is shallow enough to walk across. It is a popular tubing river and there are tour groups that go by. There is a full kitchen and a grill on the deck we made steaks for dinner on the grill and Smores in the fire pit by the river. The town is really fun we went to the Outpost and mined for Gems and fossils which the whole family loved. We loved the Glassblowing Shop it was amazing. We spent over an hour looking at the art and watching the glassblowers creating right there in front of us. We had some personalized art made for us as great reminders of the trip.

Amazing cabin by the river
We just checked out of this cabin after being here for a whole week and spending Christmas with our family there. This cabin is what dreams are made of. David has this cabin set up with everything we needed. We traveled with 3 small children and there was a play pen, a baby gate, and even a small stroller if needed. He truly thought of everything possible. The cabin is cozy inside and doesn’t lack anything. Very clean and comfortable for our family of six. The room upstairs is large and the room on the first floor is a perfect size. We loved that the town of Helen is very close by..maybe not in walking distance with small children and cold weather but would be nice on a non cold day. My favorite part was the back porch facing the river...absolutely beautiful!!!! We sat out there many times and just watched the river flow by as well as roasting marshemellows in the fire pit down by the river. David also went out of his way to suggest places to visit and answered any questions we had quickly. We will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful!
We were pleasantly surprised over how nice the cabin was. It was extremely clean and decorated well. The location and view were perfect: a lovely river in back with large picture windows to enjoy the surroundings. The town of HELEN was within walking distance and Octoberfest was taking place during our stay with music and it's many German restaurants. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience and were very much pleased.

What a beautiful trip!
This cabin is absolutely beautiful! The location is superb. David G is the consummate host. Everything was as promised and he checked on us to make sure we had all we needed. The river is very tranquil. If you are thinking of visiting Helen or North Georgia, give this cabin a try. You will not be disappointed. Thank you!

Great Place to Stay
My family spent a weekend in the cabin and they loved it. Town was close by and the river runs right through the back of it. They got to tube and they loved it. Great place.

Great Cabin, Great town.
Our family of 4 stayed two nights in the cabin. Great location rt on river. Cabin was clean and beds were comfortable. Quiet side street across the river from town. Check in was easy and owner was great to work with. Looking forward to staying in Helen at the cabin again.

Located on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, the cabin is in a quiet neighborhood, but close to all the shopping, restaurants, and activities Alpine Helen has to offer. The cabin is also just minutes from Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls, the Old Sautee General Store, Innsbruck Golf Course, and the Appalachian Trail. It is just a short scenic drive to Lake Burton, Lake Chatuge, Brasstown Bald, Dahlonega, Clayton and Hiawasee, and much more. Let this be your luxury "base camp" for exploring all of Northeast Georgia.
