Cabin Holiday Rental
Unlike most cabins in the area, our cabin is right in Alpine Helen. Located on the Chattahoochee River, it's just a short walk into downtown Alpine Helen and the Oktoberfest 'Festhall'. Built in 2009, this is one of the newest luxury cabins in Helen. For about the same price as a motel suite, you get 2 big bedrooms, a living & dining room, full kitchen, and two bathrooms with jetted bathtubs. Best of all, you get the privacy that a motel room could never offer. The cabin also has free WiFi and three smart tvs. The covered riverside deck looks over the Chattahoochee River. Great cabin!
We had a wonderful stay! This cabin was spotless! It was very clean and cozy. Location is great. My kids loved to play by the river and also enjoyed seeing the horses across the street. Highly recommend!

This cabin is beautiful!
This cabin is in a perfect location, just a very short walk from downtown Helen. The river runs right behind the cabin and the deck was a perfect spot to sit and watch the sun rise while listening to the river and the birds. There is a fire pit with great seating down by the riverside - we built a fire, cooked some steaks, and just enjoyed the evening. The cabin is very nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need (linens, towels, dishes, glasses, coffee maker, pots, pans) - lacking nothing. My husband and I stayed there with our son and we each had our own private bedroom and bathroom. Would definitely recommend this cabin and hope to be able to visit again soon!

Charming cabin near downtown Helen
This cabin is right on the Chattahoochee River and is very close to downtown Helen. Each of the two bedrooms (one up and one down) is accompanied by its own full bathroom, including a whirlpool tub. On the opposite side of the cabin from the river is a horse farm, which I suspect may supply horses for the carriage rides that are offered in downtown Helen. The cabin is well-equipped with kitchen utensils and supplies. The owner has also taken some time and expense to decorate the cabin with lots of upgrades - the light fixtures, the plumbing fixtures and other aspects of the cabin are not your standard contractor-cost supplies from Home Depot or Lowes, but are upgrades that add significantly to the overall feel of a nice home. Before we arrived, the owner had patiently answered our questions and had even suggested some restaurants that we might want to consider. (His recommendations were excellent.) My only suggestion for improvement would be to install a larger television in the den area - the TV there now is more suited to a bedroom than a den. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and I suspect that we will probably stay here again on our next trip to Helen.

Quaint & clean
We stayed at the cabin for our girl Oktoberfest trip, and it was amazing. We especially enjoyed hanging on the rocking chairs on the porch watching people tubing float by.

Perfect tranquil spot!
The porch is perfect - you have birds singing, a babbling stream and the beautiful trees. I sat out there every morning with my coffee and in the evenings with a glass of wine - so relaxing. The owner has thought of everything. We had a 1 year old with us and he had a baby gate for the stairs which was a life saver and also a playpen. There was so many thoughtful touches - too many to remember. He really did think of everything to make the stay very comfortable including the wonderful Jacuzzi tubs which we utilized every day. I was able to sit on the patio and watch my two sons float by as they did the tubing. Very cool. Can't say enough about the river, how beautiful it is everywhere you go. The town is so quaint. We indulged in the culture there with the food and beer. The Meeting Place restaurant was great. They were so friendly and accommodating and the biscuits were to die for. The park in the town was really fun for the little one. The views as you drive through the town are just beautiful. Also from the putt-putt golf course. You forget and then look up and see the beautiful mountains. An also must-do is the Unicoi State Park. Just the drive to it is worth it. Thank you David for a wonderful place to stay!

Wonderful weekend getaway.
We really couldn't have been happier with our trip to Helen. It's a really fun town to visit. Just enough "touristy" attraction, but also very laid back and pleasant. We could not have have been happier with the cabin. Perfect distance for walking to town, but also being across the river from the "excitement." We will definitely be back, sooner than later.

Best cabin in Helen!!!
My husband and I spent the weekend in this gorgeous cabin which offered many amenities! I would highly recommend this cabin to everyone who wants a rustic and relaxing time. The cabin lacks nothing and the owner of the cabin is very accommodating! Enjoy your stay!

Nice size cabin with plenty of room for 4 adults
We absolutely loved the cabin and location. Totally equipped with everything. Wine glasses and there are plastic mugs to use at King Ludwigs beer garden for refills on beer for a discounted price if you take the mugs with you. No experation date on what year you use mugs. You can walk to best part of town and not have to drive. Dollar store in town much cheaper then IGA, but IGA convenient and right around corner. Loved tubing and able to stop off at cabin for a sandwich. Be very aware of all the poison Ivey everywhere around the path and pinic table. I believe the grounds could be weeded and trimmed to see view of river. Way overall overgrown and access from river to cabin vise versa is too difficult for small children or older adults. I recommend this property.

Great cabin & location
The view of the Chattahooee River from the deck was wonderful. We had some rain during our visit, but it was cool to see the river at different stages. The walk to Helen was short. The waterfalls nearby are breathtaking.

Very Relaxing
Beautiful cabin next to the river. Enjoyed the fact that we could enjoy the walk into Helen, and walk off our dinner on the way back. Cabin was very roomy and clean. Can't say much negative except for the slight lack of privacy since there are no walls for the upstairs bedroom. Still have to say we loved our stay and will stay there again.
