Dont stop here if you are looking for up dated Hotels/motels. This entire subdivision is made up of historical renovated cottages that were old cotton/mill grist mill cottages. Many of these cottages at one time housed two or three families, however, they are comfortable weekend getaways that are a Mile from kayaking, tubing, shopping, fishing and hunting. When you Stay with us you will take a trip down memory lane. Be sure to find Delores at her giftshop, Purple Hayes, and get her to tell you the history of the town and point out scenes that were shot in Fried Green Tomatoes movie. Eat at the Whistlestop Cafe on one end of the street or Romeo in Juliette, the authentic Italian restaurant at the other....More
