The cottage is in the oldest fishing town on the entire East Coast. There is so much history on the Georgia Coastline. Our hosts were superb. The cottage was cozy, well furnished, and near the boat dock. The people in the town were so nice and benevolent. We felt like residents. The best thing was that Alan took us out island hopping on his boat. You can charter the boat with him and off you go. We will visit again and stay at this property.

We had a wonderful time. This quaint house was extremely clean, and the price was terrific. Chris is a wonderful property manager, very easy communication.

It was perfect for our needs. We have a house a block away, which made it very convenient for us. Furnishings were good and the house was very clean. We will be reserving this place again as needed.

This was our first time visiting Shellman Bluff and was not disappointed by any means. The Pleasure Bluff Cottage provides a relaxing vacation spot for any reason to just get away from it all. The full kitchen provided an opportunity for breakfast before a full day out and about with the family. Visiting the public docks offered an unexpected surprise . As the crab boats returned with their morning catch a porpoise put on a show for everyone in the area. #photoopportunity. All in all we enjoyed the quiet, spacious, friendly, environment offered by this hideaway cottage. Although the fireplace could not be used, (which was the only disappointment) the Weber grill was used as a fire pit for a beautiful evening outside during our steamed oyster event for our family. Great house close to everything. Just a golf cart ride from the water, docks, Hunter's restaurant/bar, Dollar General and gas station. I think the kids took the golf cart 5-10 times a day for snacks, drinks and food. House was clean, there were plenty of clean sheets and towels for us and loved that the house also had a washer and dryer for our use. The two full bathrooms with showers helped when getting everyone cleaned up. Would recommend the house for 4-5 people comfortably. Thank you

The only problem we had was the home owners association did not let us use the dock but the house was great!

We had a great time visiting the Shellman Bluff area. The cottage is well appointed and adorable and the area filled with interesting things to do and places to spend time. We visited Saint Simon's and Jekyll Islands, went birding and wildlife viewing at Harris Neck, fished with a professional fishing guide who also took us over to Blackbeard Island on the way home. Fresh seafood is readily available for delicious meals. And the beauty is breathtaking. Also available are bikes, kayaks, beaches, nature guides and more. You are close to historical Savannah Georgia for shopping, more restaurants, and night life. Recommend this place for everyone.
