The property is a converted Victorian Railway Carriage situated on the edge of the village of Wisbech St Mary, which is about three miles from the market town of Wisbech.

The Railway Carriage has been on its present site for many years, recently it has been completely restored to a very high standard. It is situated in its own private garden with ample parking. There is a patio and small wooded area to the side of the garden.
The Village has two public houses both which serve food, also a general store / Post Office and fish and chip shop.
Wisbech has many fine buildings with its Georgian Crescent and North Brink, it is here that Peckover House ( National Trust )
is situated. There are two market days each week (Thursday and Saturday).

The accommodation consists of a fully fitted Kitchen / Diner with oven, hob, automatic washing machine...

What a smashing place to stay. Michael goes out of his way to make sure you have a great time - central heating for those chilly evenings/mornings and old style railway carriage windows for those hot summers days. Once your best friend has got used...More

So lovely and clean. Ideal getaway especially for a railway enthusiast. Has everything you could possibly need. Michael very helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for complete relaxation.

The village is three miles from Wisbech which is a Fenland Market Town with fine Georgian architecture, the Brinks and the Crescent display the Town's wealth of heritage.

Peckover House and gardens ( National Trust ) Octavia Hill museum and Elgoods brewery and gardens which are open to the public.

Wisbech is an ideal base for touring the area with many places of interest close by. Peterborough with it's fine Cathedral and Nene Valley Steam Railway, King's Lynn, Ely one of the countries smallest cities with it's magnificent Cathedral, Cambridge with it's historical colleges, botanical gardens and punting on the river, Stamford with it's 17th and 18th century stone and older timber framed buildings along with five medieval parish churches.
Getting around
March is the nearest Railway Station, where you can travel to Norwich, Cambridge, Ely, Peterborough and London.
The nearest bus stop to Wisbech is close by and from there you can travel to King's Lynn, Hunstanton, Peterborough, Norwich and Cambridge.
