Wir haben im Herbst einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem einzigartigen Ferienhaus verbringen dürfen. Die Ausstattung lässt absolut keine Wünsche offen, alles was wir für einen gelungenen Urlaub benötigten, haben wir vorgefunden. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, die Schlafräume ( wir waren mit fünf Erwachsenen Personen da) großzügig und mit Bettwäsche und Handtüchern versehen und Wohn- und Essraum strahlen eine gemütliche Atmosphäre aus. Wichtig für die etwas kühlere Jahreszeit: das Haus lässt sich kuschlig warm heizen.
Die Lage des Hauses ist - wie beschrieben - wunderbar. See, Sauna und Boot sind in wenigen Schritten zu erreichen. Naturgemäß ist das Grundstück im Herbst etwas schattiger, was aber durch schöne Wanderungen in der Umgebung kompensiert werden kann. Hierbei durften wir auch Wildschweine und zwei Elche bewundern.
Die Fahrt zum nächsten, für uns ausreichenden kleinen ICA, beträgt 10-15 Minuten. Wunderschöne Wanderungen haben wir auf einem Rundweg des Sörmlandleden bei Kathrineholm sowie bei den Schleusen in der Nähe von Aboga unternommen (die Wege sind in der im Haus ausliegenden Karte eingezeichnet). Julita ist absolut einen Ausflug wert - hier haben wir auch unseren ersten Weihnachtsmarkt erlebt! Das auf der anderen Seeseite liegende Schloss Stora Sundby mit Tiergehege ist wunderschön anzusehen und lädt zum Schlendern im Park ein.
Stockholm ist ca. 1.45 Stunden mit dem Auto entfernt und selbsterklärend natürlich eine Reise wert.
Der Kontakt sowie die Schlüsselübergabe mit den Vermietern war einwandfrei und Mauritz und Nina stehen bei Fragen jeglicher Art schnell und zuverlässig zur Verfügung!!

The perfect place!
Best house with best surrounding - Sauna, own beach and beautiful nature (we saw two elks :-)
This object is the perfect holiday home with a superior kitchen and an owner who is the perfect host.

Licht und Schatten…
Die Lage des Hauses ist ein absoluter Traum!!! Man hat jede Menge Platz, auch auf Terrasse und Grundstück, und hat seinen eigenen kleinen Strand - supergenial!
Die Kommunikation und Verabredung mit den Vermietern verlief problemlos und zuverlässig.
Nicht sehr erfreulich waren diese Punkte:
- keinerlei Fliegengaze in den Fenstern!
- kein einziger Kleiderschrank im gesamten Haus, in dem man Kleidung aufhängen könnte.
- schlampige und unvollständige Reinigung nach unseren Vormietern: Beide Toiletten und Waschbecken schmutzig, liegengelassenes Duschgel in der Dusche, verschmutzter Kühlschrank, Nudelreste in der Spüle, nicht geleerter Mülleimer und benutztes Handtuch im oberen WC, Golfbälle und Raucher-Hinterlassenschaften im und am Sauna-Häuschen.
Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich es noch einmal buchen würde - dennoch hatten wir einen wundervollen Urlaub!

A place to relax
Checking in went well; we met Nina and followed her car in ours to get to the property; it is 5 Km off the main road and the road surface is gavel/stones. My husband was a bit sad at that point since there was no way he could ride is racing bike he had with him on this surface. However, all sadness left as we got to the house and went inside. Outside, the location is fantastic with stunning views over the lake and to Stora Sunby Slott on the other side. Inside, wow. The house much have been built about 10 years ago (guess on my part) but the style outside is very Swedish summer house style. Inside, the building work of the floors and windows etc. is fantastic, great attebtion to detail and it is beautifully decorated. Nina showed
us round and explained a few things that needed explaining. One of these things is that the tap water, although safe to drink, does not taste very nice (but is OK for tea and coffee) and so a bottle of water had been provided in the fridge. It would have been good to know this in advance since we could have brought water with us instead of having to buy plastic bottles at the local supermarket. However, that was the ONLY minor annoyance and we had a very happy week there, sitting on the deck, reading, looking at the view, swimming in the lake, repeat :-)
We will return, with a mountain bike and not a raod bike!!

Lovely
Great, secluded, the house has everything you will need, clean, modern, cozy. An absolutely lovely stay and we’d love to come back another time! A couple of loungechairs on the porch would make it all just perfect though, as there is only table and chairs at the moment. Notice that the TV has no channels, so bring DVDs, Apple TV or similar if you wish to use the TV. Thank you for a great week!

Wonderful house surrounded by nothing but nature
We (2 friends) have had the opportunity to stay in the Sand House for a week in June 2019. We enjoyed nature, fishing, the quietness and still had all the comfort of the “modern living”. The house is very well equipped and in perfect condition.
Absolutely recommended for everyone looking for a relaxing time.

Very nice and well maintained house
We were allowed to get to know a beautiful and well maintained house.
The house is very well equipped, nothing is missing.
The location on the Hjälmaren is uniquely beautiful and impressive. Since the house is secluded, it is very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the vast surroundings, the snowy forest and the frozen Hjälmaren.
The contact with Mauritz and Nina was helpful and uncomplicated.
Hope to come back one time.

We had a wonderful stay and relaxed so much! The house is nicely renovated and has all the modern confort one would require (incl. a large sauna). It is well situated: feels remote but close enough to towns and cities to get groceries and do activities.
Great help and organisation from the property manager Nina (welcome, availability for questions, drove us to the central train station as our car got distroyed by a tree in a storm)
