Upon checking out of the property we received a notice that most of our damage deposit had been withheld. She accused us of having moved a sofa to watch TV and scratching the floor. We never moved any furniture in the property. When we tried to contact the property owner she refused to listen to us and rudely stated that we needed to not call her and call VRBO. When we called VRBO, they said we needed to call the property owner to try to resolve the issue. We are now on day 5 of trying to get this resolved. Besides retaining most of our damage deposit, we continue to get bills stating that we owe additional money even though our bill was prepaid in full.
