All children are welcome but they must be supervised at all times. Mazu II is a fully functioning yacht with a lot of buttons to turn, push, twist and switch. I want all my guests to have a relaxing vacation. NO overnight guests without approval. Non smoking facility - smoking is permitted outside on the dock only.

About the neighbourhood
The Twin Villages of Damariscotta - Newcastle conveniently located only 2 min. off of the major highway, Route 1, in Midcoast Maine. Damariscotta, the 'river of many fishes' in Abernaki, is named for the alewives that annually migrate the Damariscotta River and then 'climb' the amazing fish ladder at Damariscotta Mills in order to spawn in the Lake. The river is also one of the northernmost mating grounds of the primitive and marvelous horseshoe crab. And these waters support seals, ospreys, bald eagles, king fishers, great blue herons, mackerel and stripe bass, just to name a few. Humans have also worked this river for about 13,000 years. Their most famous legacy forms immense, white oyster shell mounds on the riverbanks.
Getting around
During the day you also have the option of taking an aquaculture tour and sample the world famous oysters with Damariscotta River Cruises, and in the evening receive a complementary drink on us while listening to live music on their sunset cruise. Another day maybe walk around the twin villages to shop, visit art galleries, dine in one of the fabulous restaurants or take a short sightseeing trip to the historic lighthouse at Pemaquid Point, Boothbay, Round Pond, Damariscotta is only 45 min from Freeport's L L Beans, 1 hour from Portland and 45 min from Rockland / Camden.
