The house was perfect. Just as described in the listing. It was spotless when checking in and literally had everything we might need. Communication was great, also loved that things in the house were labeled! My kids loved the kayaks and being able to fish right from shore. Quiet neighbors. I worked remotely from the house and the connectivity was spot on. We were looking for future dates to stay again before we even left. Will definitely be back!

Took us 3 years to finally find the perfect vacation spot. It was beautiful and quiet. We had a deer swim right past the dock. All of our needs were met. We lost power the last day but the owners were so amazing and gave us constant updates. Will absolutely book again ❤️

We had a wonderful mini vacation at East Grand Escape. The location is peaceful with breathtaking views. Our host’s thoughts of everything we could need and there were many extras ( coffee, tea, sugar, spices, bowls for dogs, extra blankets and towels). We even had a relaxing rain day doing a puzzle, playing games, dancing with the Wii, and watching a movie. The community and area is friendly and welcoming. Hope to visit again. Thank you.

This place was absolutely gorgeous, both the house and the views were fabulous! Getting to see the sun rise and set over the lake was an amazing experience. The house was wonderful with plenty of room for many people and lots of amenities. Definitely hope to go back one day!

Warm cozy and inviting . Everything we could possibly want or need was at the house and easy to find. Stephanie and Ryan thought of everything to make this the most relaxing and short getaway weekend. Beautiful well kept home. warm comfy beds in which I (Pam) had to google where the pillows came from and the heated mattress pad. Ordered them right away and they were delivered the day we arrived home.
Found a sled and felt like a 10 year old. the hill going down to the lake was a blast!! Made snowman, snow angels, had a bonfire, stargazed at night and woke up to the most beautiful sunrises.
Snowmobiling around the lake and Ice fishing were a few more things we did during our stay at East Grand Lake Escape.
We definitely we be returning and staying longer.
Thank You Ryan and Stephanie for thinking of everything when your guest need to Escape. BRAVO!!

Super Comfy and Clean!
This property was the perfect place to get away and enjoy the beauty and wildness of East Grand Lake! I've been vacationing in this area for over 50 years and this was the nicest "camp" I've ever stayed in! My dog, Sunny, and I had a relaxing and wonderful stay!
Stephanie and Ryan have provided everything you'll need and the lakefront area offers so many options for play: swimming, kayaking, fishing, and sunbathing. I loved that there were three different table choices for meals inside as well as a picnic table outside. I ate breakfast and lunch on sunny days out on the balcony and also did stargazing out there on clear nights. A nor'easter storm blew through while I was there and I felt very safe and secure in this solid house. I also really appreciated the washer/dryer for midweek laundry of essentials.
Danforth is close by for basic grocery shopping and I always go up to Houlton to visit with friends and go out to dinner. In Weston, the First Settlers Lodge on Route 1 has new owners this year and the baked salmon dinner there was absolutely delicious! They have the best view of Mt Katahdin around! The Millyard gas & convenience store has yummy steak subs, quesadillas and pizza as well.
I'm not sure yet what next year will bring for me but I sure do hope to return to Stephanie and Ryan's East Grand Lake Escape!
