My family stayed for a week in July and loved it! The cottage was immaculate and very comfortable. The owner was very helpful. The house had everything we needed and the outdoor shower was a big bonus. The best part was the location. It was a two minute walk to the "little beach" off Marginal way, which was so delightful. Also walkable to town, the "big beach", and Perkins cove. I highly recommend!!

This was our second stay at this charming, classic New England beach cottage. Ogunquit as a whole is a gorgeous little village and this cottage is nothing short of perfect. The listing description is wholly accurate in total scope. The place is spotless and bright and clean. Pine window casings, countless windows to open and let the ocean air breeze through the living quarters and bedrooms. My wife and I stayed here with our little boy, but the cottage easily sleeps much more. It is private yet close to the quaint downtown village where there are a number of great eateries and bars. It is an even closer walk to the Marginal Way and the beach. Vicky is a great resource in terms of fun family activities to do in the area, as well as responsive to any renter's needs. She was gracious and very helpful to us. I would recommend this property to anyone in my own family or friends looking for a relaxing, beach vacation. Reading on the balcony with a cup of coffee is the ultimate way to start a morning. We enjoyed the Candy Shoppe in Perkins Cove and the Finest Kind boat cruises as well as the wonderful, rocky beaches. Our little family cannot wait to return next summer!

Really nice place, had all amenities you would need. Only issue was very humid week with no air conditioning and no cable tv or WiFi. We actually enjoyed the no tv as we played some games as well as got a lot of reading done. Outside shower is fantastic!

This cottage is a wonderful vacation spot, in a quiet neighborhood, and is a 2-3 minute walk to the Marginal Way and to the neighborhood beach (which appears at low tide) and at low tide this local beach connects to the larger town beach. From the house it's an easy 10-15 minute walk along the Marginal Way north to the center of Ogunquit and the main town beach, or the same distance south to Perkins Cove, for lunch and sailing or a ride on a lobster boat. The house is very clean and tidy, well built, and has a large living room and dining area downstairs along with a kitchen and bathroom. Plus, there is an outdoor shower on the side of the house, for rinsing off after the beach. The kitchen has everything you would need in terms of supplies and equipment. Upstairs are two bedrooms with sloped ceilings and dormer windows, and a wonderful room-sized deck, from which you can see the ocean through the trees. All the windows in the house are well screened and there are fans in every room. Recommendation: If you happen to get up at 5am one day, you can walk right down the street to the ocean and see the sun rise right up out of the water - a wonderful opportunity for photographers!

The cottage is bright, airy and very clean!! The property is well manicured and landscaped and it was a very comfortable fit for my husband and I since we love to sit outside. There is sun and shade so you can hang out wherever you are most comfortable. The closest beach is literally 2 minutes away and during low tide it is just so enjoyable to sit near the water and take in the views. Being able to access Marginal Way was a bonus and we walked to Perkins Cove as well as to the main beach - it is a breathtaking walk whichever way you choose. We were lucky enough to be ther on July 4th and were able to view the fireworks from the upstairs deck enjoying them with a bottle of wine and not having to head into the crowds. Roberto's Restaurant is right at the bottom of the street so on the night we didn't feel like venturing too far, we walked down - no driving needed all week. Exceptional location and extremely nice folks to rent from. I'm sure we will revisit in the future!! Kathie & Scott Clark

We absolutely loved every moment we spent at the cottage. It is immaculate and perfectly laid out. Very enjoyable breeze; even on the hottest of days, you'd never notice it (as the house is perfectly situated on top of a hill). A real gem of a place. Vicky and Bruce could not be nicer folks. The perfect distance to the 'little beach' down the hill and the various eateries down the other direction. Love the outdoor shower!!! I want one. 5 stars all the way. We hope to be back again!

The cottage is very clean and bright with a nice yard.. The small beach is a 2 minutes walk as is the Marginal Way. The main beach is a 15 minutes walk. My wife and I have been staying here for a week each summer for the last 6 years. As we have added children, they have joined us for a week of unwinding and a slower pace of life. The cottage is located within a 10 minute walk to either the downtown or Perkins cove, via either the marginal way or walking the back roads and seeing some amazing houses. The cottage is at the top of a hill overlooking the ocean and there are several small beaches that are perfect for kids since they can explore without one having to worry about them getting lost in the crowds like at larger beach. The owners have all of amenities that you could need to enjoy your stay including lots of beach toys, towels, chairs, shovels and nets. My two boys, (ages 2 and 4) love playing in the sand but if you want to take a break from the sand, there is a large park a two minute walk from the house where you can play ball, tag or anything else that requires a running area. We usually enjoyed lunch and dinner down on the patio by the garden and you feel so secluded. The house is very clean and tidy and if you ever need anything the homeowners are a half hour away. As another reviewer mentioned, we try to go the whole week without driving but if you want to drive, there are plenty of things to do and see within easy driving distance.

We've been fortunate to have stayed here many times over the years. The location is quiet and tucked back from the road. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind. The home is crisp and clean. Marginal way is a must every day. Relax on the private beach just a few minutes walk. Perkins Cove is close by. Walked down the hill to Roberto's for dinner. Highly recommend.
