We spent a week in the downstairs apartment of the Sea Captain's House and had a wonderful time. Cathy and George are such fun and full of information about the area. The house is equipped for everything from a BBQ to a summer cocktail and everything in between. The antique furnishings, bottles, china and art are a look into a sea captain's past. We used the apartment for meals and sleeping and took day trips every day. They are centrally located to so many things in the area. Kudos to our hosts!

3 of us stayed here for a couple of nights and fell in love with it! So cute and homey! None of us wanted to leave and would stay here again in a heartbeat. We loved the old wood floors and all of the little details in the home. We didn't even see the owner until the morning we were leaving. She was precious and had provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you are in the area, this house is a great choice! across the street from the water, and mins from Main st. shopping and eating. Super close to Camden without being in the busy tourist traffic and crowds.

Absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone. Two very comfortable bedrooms and a pullout sofa in a private living room down the hall with doors that close for privacy. We had 6 people staying total (two young children) and found it to be spacious and perfect with wonderful and thoughtful hosts. Very nearby a lovely lighthouse. Truly a relaxing stay. Thank you ever so much!

We stayed in the gorgeous Zadoc F Brewster House for nearly two weeks and for us, it was a home from home, we didn't ever want to leave!! This is the holiday home that has everything that you will ever need and more. I didn't expect to prepare and cook meals but with Hanafords a stone throw away and the fully equipped kitchen, it was hard not too! Cathy and George are the most gracious hosts who were an absolute delight and full of great tips of where to go and what to do. Can't wait for next summer, Rockland is the best!!!

I can not say enough good things about this rental! The place was beautiful and well appointed, as reflected in the description. However, the human touch of the outstanding hospitality bestowed by the wonderful host and her husband, combined with attention to details made our stay a memorable pleasure. The level of cleanliness was superb; the kitchen surpassed my expectations for supplies and equipment available; the large amount of rooms and space was unexpected; and the neighborhood was friendly, quiet, and walkable for us and our little dog. In terms of the location, it was perfect ... A short drive to Main Street with restaurants and shops ... A short walk to a restaurant and a grocery store ... A short distance view of the water front. I look forward to returning, and would definitely, whole-heartedly recommend a stay here.

I can't say enough good things about this place and owners Cathy and George. The place is beautifully decorated and feels warm and inviting. It is well stocked with every detail thought out and perfectly clean. I loved their yard as well. We had two dogs, who Cathy and George treated like family, but the place was so clean you'd never know dogs had stayed there before. The place is huge as well and you can relax with plenty of space for everything. Thanks so much Cathy and George for a wonderful stay

Traveling from Washington, DC with two dogs and a friend, this was a find!!! Cathy and George warmly welcomed us and our large dogs and made us feel right at home. The apartment has everything you need and more. It is spacious and tastefully furnished with incredibly comfortable beds and linens. Ideally located within minutes of historic Rockland and it's slew of fine dining, as well as an easy commute for day trips to other points of interest. And the dogs couldn't be happier lounging on the shaded patio deck and grassed yard. The spacious accommodations made this such a relaxing and enjoyable holiday for both two and four legged guests!
