On Ox Hill just East of Seal Harbor harbor, in a very private area next to forever wild land, a lovely blueberry meadow separates a new and beautiful house with four bedrooms from a classic Maine cottage with two bedrooms. Equidistant from Bar Harbor and Northeast Harbor, the entrance bell for the harbor rings gently. With its lofty rooms, light from different views on each side coming through large glass doors, and the sweep from one fireplace to a matching one sixty feet away, Blueberries has an air of relaxed elegance.The lawn outside suits children, badminton, croquet, mini soccer. And flowers! High speed internet. Serene and pleasant
This spacious house has ample room for a big family to have a wonderful time in Maine. The property lends itself to feeling like a peaceful retreat while being close enough to Bar Harbor and Northeast Harbor. You can even walk into Seal Harbor very easily. In fact, there are beautiful walks and hikes right nearby.
The kitchen is a fun cooks kitchen with lots of seating for company, and the family room is good for socializing or for snuggling up with some rainy day reading. The beds are comfy and the layout is great for everyone having their own space. The bathrooms are nice and feel new. A great option for small children too, as there is a safe yard area and lots of room to run around!

On a back road at the top of Ox Hill, you enjoy considerable privacy, yet 15 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor, 10 minutes from Acadia National Park (Jordan Pond House and Day Mountain), 10 minutes from the harbor at Northeast Harbor. Private driveway with seven parking spaces.
Acadia National Park has spectacular carriage roads for biking or walking, and of course wonderful hiking trails and vistas. Check it out online.
