This is a comfortable home with a fantastic view of part of the Deep Creek Lake because the house is situated on a mountain ridge. The house is spacious for our party of five. It was clean with crisp bed linens and plenty of soft and thick bath towels. Even though the listing says the guests need to bring toilet papers, paper towel, detergents, soaps, shampoos and hairdryer, Railey Management left a shopping bag filled with two rolls of toilet papers , one roll of paper towel, and single use dishwasher detergent and washer detergent. It was a surprise, and we also found two hairdryers in the master bath. Everything was functional except the hot tub! We were in our swimsuits and ready to enjoy soaking in the hot tub after a three hour drive and unpacking, yet there was little water in it when we lifted the cover! We contacted the management agency by phone the next morning at 8:30, the agent promised to put in a work order, but the tub was untouched when we returned from a hiking trip in the afternoon. Some email communication was carried out with the management company, but the issue was not resolved when we checked out on the third day. The management was responsive and courteous when we conversed every time though, and they were quick to come and replace a couple of light bulbs. Otherwise we really enjoyed our time at this property, especially the BBQ dinner on the deck and the bonfire using the fire pit in the backyard facing the lake. Our four year old grandson said he wanted to stay.
