We enjoyed our week-end here. The cabin is in a nice shady spot with near neighbors but isolated by trees and greenery. There are plenty of amenities indoor and out. The cabin condition is a little dated but amenities are as described here and everything is in working order. The cabin is more spacious than I expected from the beds & bath count so my family of 6 found it plenty large.
Garrett County MD is an amazing place with tons of natural forest beauty. Wow, didn't know about this as a destination but it's worth it!

This was a great house for a vacation of a family of eight. It had plenty of room for us and it is near all the state parks and hiking trails we wanted to visit.

Great stay. This weekend in Deep Creek has become a family tradition. On my short list for a repeat stay.
A little off the peaten path. Google Maps doesn't get it right.
Helen's directions were spot on.

Helen's home is the perfect place to stay, it is close to everything in Deep Creek and is super clean.

We had a great time on our family get away. The house was clean, with plenty of room, and more than accommodating with all of the necessary things to make our stay like we were at home.

We needed to stay in this area for a family wedding. We found the house to be very clean and larger than it appears in the photos. The owner was great at communicating and went above and beyond to make the house welcoming.

The property was as described in the listing. The inside is very spacious and comfortable and the price is right. Helen Moody is a most gracious 'host'. Very responsive and accommodating. I recommend this rental 100%!

Property is bigger than the pictures show. Check in/out was very simple. Huge yard! The bunkbeds in the backroom was great because my younger kids stayed in the same room as my husband and I. The drive to the lake and shops wasn't bad at all. We had a great stay!

Beautiful property, fantastic home for 5 children and 2 adults. We enjoyed coffee every morning under the little Pavillion and hummingbirds visited the feeders regularly. A short walk to the lake with access to a picnic table and shade.
