Downstairs features an open, well equipped kitchen with large, expandable dining table for group/family meals and entertaining. Tile and hardwood oak flooring throughout. Bath with laundry area with built-in ironing board. Three sitting/gathering areas: One formal, with library, leather chairs and beautiful, antique hand-knotted rug. One informal, with sectional couch, old-school sound-system (LPs, cassettes & CDs) and easy-chair. One informal carpeted room, that can also be closed off to be a bedroom with fold-out full-size futon and indoor fireplace. There is also a mint condition, vintage Baldwin electric organ and plenty of space for dancing! Walk-out to fully screened-in porch with views of the rising sun and moon, wildflowers and the comings and goings of the forest-edge dwellers; including wild turkeys, deer, an occasional moose, and multitudes of birds. Great accomodations for a whole bunch of people. Four bedrooms with beds for 10 PLUS additional mattresses for the kids. Fresh eggs and coffee from the hosts were a nice treat. Large blueray TV for DVDs, books galore and lots of board games. Slept comfortably...More
