Quiet area, clean and very comfortable here. Centrally located to various smaller towns. Communication was easy with owner’s. Would like to rent here again.

A beautiful property! Well taken care of, and it had everything we needed. The Den is perfect for a northern stay at the peak of fall colors. We rented this with another couple to tour the northwest part of lower peninsula. It was right on the water with a very peaceful and relaxed setting. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The local bar and grill called 44 Grill was good too!

Had a great time here. Clean and looked just as pictured. Loved that it was right on the lake and how much shallow water there was- it was perfect for our 18 month old.

Really really nice, as stated above very well stocked and maintained. So many nice touches you just don't find in your normal cabin. The owners pride shines through! A nice stepping off point to drive north for the attractions but then return to the peace and quite of Bear Lake.

Great place to stay with lovely views of the water. Quiet and had everything we needed. Love the area and will definitely go back.

We very much enjoyed our stay at “The Den”. Very comfortable accommodations. Reasonably priced for the area. Close to many great adventures in NW Michigan. Children enjoyed the shallow water swimming. Used the kayaks and row boat. Just a little disappointed as we thought there was a paddle boat available. We’ll consider visiting again in the future.

It was a perfect vacation getaway, well stocked kitchen for cooking/baking supplies and a great location, very peaceful. We will definitely book this location again.

Stayed with my wife for Up North golf weekend at Arcadia. Property as advertised, no unpleasant surprises. Very close to Arcadia Bluffs. Pleasantly surprised at the water clarity and the number of bass close to the dock. Quiet street, nice for eve walk.
