A warm welcome awaits you from Rob and Belinda on your arrival. The cottage is situated in the most beautiful grounds and if you are looking for peace and relaxation then this is the place for you. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and our two labs enjoyed a stroll around the grounds. To us the cottage was everything and more, we will certainly return.

The owners are outstanding hosts and made us feel so welcome from the first moment we met them and throughout our stay. We would not hesitate to stay again. Apart from the obvious places to visit from here one gem that we found was the RAF Museum at Cosford (which is free to visit apart from a £5.00 parking cost) - this is an amazing place for all ages and ideal if you get a rainy day!

We met the owners on arrival, and within ten minutes we felt we had known them all our lives, Rob and Belinda were so warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble during our stay with them. The property is immaculate, both for cleanliness and maintenance. It is very comfortable, and its location is ideal We have two "well behaved" dogs who instantly felt at home and were well relaxed. We cannot thank the owners for making our stay so enjoyable.

As with everyone else across the country we desperately wanted to get away after the Covid lock down and visit a part of the country we hadn't been to before and chose Shropshire with plenty of places to visit in close proximity. After an horrendous journey up from Devon due to traffic on the M5 it was a great pleasure to be welcomed by Belinda and Rob to our rural retreat for the week. In a beautiful setting with the daily spectre of the wildlife from all vantage points, we quickly settled into Butterfly Cottage which was spotless, comfortable and very well apportioned having been fully refurbished in time for this inaugural letting season. We spent the week visiting local attractions and would highly recommend Ludlow and the Castle there, Ironbridge and most of their Museums, Cosford RAF Museuem and the Severn Valley Railway. Thankfully, despite the forecast of wet weather throughout our stay, it stayed dry with rain only overnight. There are numerous walks available locally but we did not avail ourselves of these due to an ongoing back problem. We would unreservedly recommend Butterfly Cottage and Belinda and Rob could not have been better hosts. Friendly, understanding and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable.

The owners Belinda and Rob couldn't be more welcoming or helpful. The cottage has been recently renovated to a very high standard and good quality furniture/bedding makes for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed watching the wide variety of local wildlife while we ate our meals. The surrounding area is beautiful with wonderful views and lots of history to explore. Will definitely be booking again.

Great cottage very recently refurbished with everything you need, in lovely garden. We were lucky with the weather so spent most of the time in the garden watching the many birds (including regilar visits from a woodpecker, tree creepers etc), but the cottage is very cosy if you're indoors too, even has a little reading room that I didn't get a chance to use. Belinda and Rob are very friendly and welcoming, and Milly the springer was very friendly too, (our dog loved her!). The cottage is set in beautiful countryside with walks from the door (bring wellies!), as well as more to explore further afield - only 20 minutes to Bewdley/Wyre forest, similar distance to Ludlow which we didn't get to on this occasion. We hope to return soon!

Located in the beautiful Shropshire countryside a short drive from Bridgenorth, Ludow, Kiddiminster and a number of stunning villages. Cottage is pet friendly, stylishly decorated and well equipped with all essentials. Stands in its own scenic grounds with plenty of space for pets to run and play. Hosts Belinds and Rob can't do enough for you. Had great holiday and will return.

Following the easing of the recent lock-down we wanted to get away from our regular life style. We fancied looking for a lodge or cottage in the countryside. We looked through the various internet sources and came across Butterfly Cottage. The cottage is situated in a farming area with lovely Shropshire views, locally and on the horizon. The cottage has well equipped kitchen and bathroom and has very comfortable lounges and bedrooms with super bedding, all spotlessly clean. The Hosts from the main house were very welcoming and helpful but certainly not interfering. Their springer spaniel did take to us, and it was great to meet her outside in the garden. There are four old main towns within a 45 minute travel time, Bewdley with its River Severn, Bridgnorth also with its River Severn and funicular cliff railway, Ludlow with its River Teme, and more locally Cleobury Mortimer with nearest Co-op and filling station. All of these towns are much worth visiting and have plenty of Pubs – tea rooms etc. Of course throughout Shropshire there the the local lanes, small villages (often with pubs as does Stottesdon) and wonderful undulating views. We did so enjoy our stay that we know we will make return visits. Anna and Stuart - Bucks

Our recent stay at Butterfly Cottage was exactly the relaxing break we needed. It's setting in the middle of the countryside is so calming and peaceful but still within a comfortable drive to local attractions (Rays Farm and West Midland Safari Park to name a couple). Our hosts, Belinda and Rob, were absolutely lovely and welcomed us warmly from the time we arrived - only too willing to help with any request we had without being overbearing or intrusive. The cottage itself is beautiful and deceptively spacious. Recently renovated, it is tasteful throughout. We came accompanied with a couple of toddlers who tested every corner of the property and it passed with flying colours. Whilst I wouldn't consider myself a twitcher, I regularly got lost watch the abundance of birds that would visit the beautiful gardens to the front of the cottage. In summary, our stay felt too brief and when we next have the opportunity to visit anywhere near Butterfly Cottage we'll be looking to check-in here before we even consider anywhere else.
