My friend and I rented this property for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is so convenient to downtown Port Huron, local beaches, shopping, restaurants, and so much more.
The property is right on Black River with an amazing view from the couch, master bed, or from the two outdoor patios/decks. You can see I94, some billboards, local restaurants and a hotel across the river but all can be overlooked for the river view and amazing sunsets!!! The highway traffic is a little noticeable from outside but it can not be heard inside.
The place is very clean and simply decorated. The main floor is the living area with a very comfy reclining couch and two reclining chairs. There is a pool table in the living space along with a large screen tv with Roku. We didn’t use the pool table and would have preferred a table but there is a small table in the kitchen, a small one outside, and two little side tables on the patios. Plenty of seating options. I think the pool table is a great option - just not for us.
The two bedrooms are in the lower walkout level. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twins that Mike will gladly make into a king. There are two full bathrooms in the lower level and a half bath upstairs. The only thing we found was that the lower level was very cool compared to upstairs (which is normal). We just had some difficulty regulating the AC to be comfortable in both.
My friend and I loved our stay here and we would definitely return.
