Situated on the Worcestershire/Herefordshire border, just outside the market town of Bromyard, Moorhall Farm is ideally placed for visiting events and places of interest at Malvern, Ludlow, Ledbury, Leominster as well as Worcester and Hereford.

Please keep your dog on a lead at all times around livestock.
Had a lovely stay over Easter 2019. Very spacious house with a fantastic kitchen/social area and large bedrooms. The local farm animals kept the children entertained! Hot tub hire recommendation from the host made the weekend even more relaxing, highly recommended!

Perfect retreat for a large group
We had a wonderful stay with friends at Moorhall Farm. Our group consisted of 6 adults and 8 teenagers. The house was spacious and comfortable with the added bonus of a pool table which had lots of use. Lucy was very helpful and accommodating. She kindly left us a tray of eggs and even dealt with our large Tesco delivery as we got stuck in traffic on the way there. We hired a hot tub from Ludlow and Hereford hot tub hire which went down a treat. Our favourite day out was to West Midlands Safari Park - well worth a visit. The teens and men of the group had a great time go karting at Hereford Raceway which was around 25 minutes away. We can thoroughly recommend The Royal Oak for a mid week carvery - lovely food and very reasonably priced.

Great Farmhouse for a family get together
Fantastic kitchen and open area living space with games room one end and pool room other end - great for older and younger kids. Beds very comfortable and the whole place is like an adventure playground with 3 separate staircases which also gave families some privacy. Shabby chic furniture rather than luxury. We were able to take our dog but there isn’t much garden for him or the children to play in. Some nice walks but you need to go out in the car and we can highly recommend the Admiral Rodney for food and 16 of us had a private area for Sunday lunch.

Fantastic farmhouse, perfect for family gathering
Absolutely thrilled that we booked this lovely farmhouse for a family gathering for my mums 80th birthday, couldn’t fault a thing. It was huge but cosy warm and homely, we all felt really relaxed, it had everything you could want and more, the open plan design made you feel you could all spread out but still be a part of whatever was going on. The bedrooms were massive, beds so comfy that we all slept in late, and the quirky layout with different staircases meant you all felt private in your section of the house. The pool/snooker room was amazing and the main hub of activity for our lot, but also the kitchen was great and easily catered for cooking for large groups with the aga and range cookers. Communication with Lucy was spot on, she was there instantly to answer any questions that we had, thoroughly recommend.

Amazing - we couldn't have had a better weekend!
The house was amazing and Lucy couldn't have been more helpful before and during our stay.
The house was well equipped, clean, and tidy, with amazing underfloor heating which was well used during our December stay! The fresh eggs on arrival was also a lovely touch.
During our stay Lucy was quick to reply to any messages and questions we had - even at 10:30pm!
Over all the 16 of us couldn't have had a better weekend in such an amazing house! Thank you Lucy!

Wonderful
A fantastic host - nothing was too much trouble for Lucy, before, during after our visit - from Eggs to local butcher. The house itself is a listed farmhouse extended and done up. Excellent variety of bedrooms set up as you wish. The highlight is without doubt a marvellous through kitchen and lounge where we regularly had all 10 of us together with the warm Aga, comfy sofas and huge table.
If you don’t like cows it maybe not for you!!

Fabulous renovated large & interesting farmhouse
There were 11 adults in our group and we stayed over the 1st May Bank Holiday for 4 nights. We had not been to this part of the country before and it was truly beautiful, especially the sight of the Malvern Hills as you enter the county. Lucy (the owner) made us feel very special from all the questions we had beforehand right through to the end of our stay. The farmhouse is steeped in history and has been lovingly extended and restored. It is on a main road but there are 2 secure gates and hardly any traffic noise. It is ideally situated for lots of walks & sightseeing. We walked up the Malvern Hills, what a view and had lunch in Malvern. We also visited Ralph Court Gardens. What a secret and wonderful place and good food (we pre-ordered on the day) We also had dinner at the Live and Let Live, Whitbourne one evening (book!) Delicious food and atmosphere! The Landlord gave us a lift back! It's not far but no street lighting at night.
Back to the farmhouse, picking up keys was easy (we also ordered eggs from Lucy - the best!). Lots of space, the descriptions of the rooms were accurate. Could just do with extra storage space in kitchen for food supplies but that is all. One Aga AND one hob/grill/oven; very large fridge/freezer; dishwasher; basic condiments provided, large table and small table. Linen and hand & bath towels provided (would have preferred bath sheets). All in all a wonderful weekend in this beautiful farmhouse. It was a very hot weekend when we were there and we spent some time outside on the 'patio'. We personally would have preferred more comfortable seating but I think the outside area is something Lucy is doing and we hear she is trailing a hot tub at the farmhouse. The cows at the farm are so nice to hear and look at!

Birthday weekend
we all enjoyed staying at Moorhall Farm last weekend. As a venue for a family get-together it really is ideal. We found it comfortable, warm and homely; everyone slept well and felt the setting was lovely. It was good to be able to get out and do a couple of walks from the farmhouse too. I would thoroughly recommend this venue.

Lovely cavernous house, pleasant stay
A lovely house to stay in, and large enough for everyone, with a warren of rooms for everyone to enjoy their own little space, without getting on top of each other. Worked great for everyone, even with two small kids (the youngest was one).
There were a few issues that we let the owner know about while we were staying, such as some old tired mattresses, and a large number of flies appearing in the house, but we were assured that these were being looked into.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review; it is very much appreciated. With regards to the few issues you had, I can only thank you again for bringing them to our attention when you left. The mattresses, believe it or not, are less than 18 months old but obviously do not enjoy being used as a child's trampoline! Hence, they have been replaced with new bed bases to match. The flies I am afraid, were a freak of nature and to make matters unfair for you, there have not been any more since your visit. I hope these unwelcome visitors didn't affect your enjoyment in the house too much.

Amazing farm house
This was the second year in a row we have stayed at moorhall and it is ideal for what we need.
There was ten adults and a few young children and it is plenty big enough for us all.
The kitchen/ lounge area are perfect for having a large group and all of the bedrooms are great.
The fact that it is on a working farm makes it great fun for the kids as well.
We will definitely be booking again.
