Holiday Rental House
A perfect hideaway in a tranquil little-known part of the Lake District National Park - yet within easy reach of all major Lakeland visitor attractions. The cottage is perfect for that get-away-from-it-all holiday. It's a cosy base from which you can walk for miles along ancient tracks and footpaths, take a leisurely drive through quiet lanes or just do nothing - relaxing in the 3/4 acres of garden or perhaps taking a picnic down to the summer house overlooking the pond. Forest Field cottage is a luxurious, (4 star rated) cottage with level access adjacent to our Victorian schoolmaster's house. Completely private and self contained, it has been specially designed for two people. It is well equipped with high quality furnishings and decor throughout and kept in immaculate condition. About the neighbourhood
Set in the rolling hills and quiet, unspoilt countryside in the south of the Lake District National Park, the cottage makes an ideal venue from which to explore what the Lake District has to offer. You can walk for miles along ancient tracks and footpaths, take a leisurely drive through quiet lanes, hire bicycles or a boat or go horse riding. Or you may prefer to relax and do very little. The cottage is ideally located for exploring places so familiar to Beatrix Potter and featured in the recent film Miss Potter. The pretty market town of Ulverston on the Furness peninsular is only 6 miles away and well worth a vi...
