Appalling management team
Told to arrive after 4pm, no problem. On arrival the stand-in manager/caretaker greeted us. He showed just the Hot Tub explained it’s on 37 degrees and mentioned the main bathroom has had a new seal so don’t use for 24 hours. Barely showed the house, just left. My 14 weeks pregnant wife sat on the sofa while the kids and I unpacked the car. Which is when my wife spotted the dirt and dead flies under the sofa. As the welcome notes say, just call and they’ll sort. Which, to be fair they did. When the cleaners returned they pulled the sofa out and hoovered up the flies. The Caretaker and cleaners saw the dead flies at that time. My wife explained other area of dirt too. The most concerning reply was “oh we don’t clean under the rug”… when you lifted the corner there was long time dust gatherings. None the less, they sorted a clean and left. The Hot Tub was refilled with new cold water on arrival so we couldn’t use it the first night. It takes ages for it to heat up. The following morning was ok, we used it after breakfast. On the evening of the second day, after a day out walking and quick dip in the Hot Tub I used the upstairs en-suite for a shower. It started ok, but I saw brown flaking bits all round my feet. I thought it came of me at first, but then looked closer at the shower cord and the main shower head. They had brown “leading” furry mould all over them. I turn the shower temperature up and the handle came off. I pushed it back on but it was now locked in scolding position. This is not good for a pregnant woman. So as you’d expect I gave the caretaker another call to get the shower fixed and mentioned the mould flakes and then asked if the Hot Tub could be increased to 38 or 39 degrees. That call seemed ok and normal. The call back was when things got very strange. He said he spoke with the owners and they said they’ve never had a complaint like this before. He then denied seeing dead flies and said the owners have offered that we vacate the property by 10am the next morning for a full refund. I was shocked that this was there first option, not fix the shower (which is what I was expecting). Instead he went on about 2 other showers in the house that are of good working order and they’re not going to fix the en-suite shower. I found this very unhelpful, totally unwelcoming and quite simply, not how you treat customers. After speaking with my pregnant wife about the offer she said “let’s just go home then”. So I called back and said we’d like to take them up on the full refund to vacate by 10am the next morning. This is when I started to review calls from the owner who started to reverse on the full refund offer. He clearly did not want to hear us and the call became more attack and legal defence over court proceedings and alike. He then ended saying it’s out of his hands and to wait until the proper manager returns from holiday. We left 10am as promised the next morning and then had to wait 5 days for any confirmation of the refund. On the 5th she only returned 1/2 and then decided to deny flies, dirt, broken shower and all bad customer service behaviour we were exposed to (for no reason). We’ve never had an apology and today, still, the excuses keep coming. Denial and lies. That’s the true experience of our “meant to be a lovely week long holiday”. I will never return and advise all others to look elsewhere. The management and cleaning staff are shocking.

Nice house and area but it was advertised as games room with dart board even on there updated 2022 TripAdvisor pics and there was no dartboard(false advertisement)we were told of a welcome pack but was not left tea,sugar,wash liquid and wash tablet as advertised! Then told to vacate by 9am which we knew but were expected to strip beds,bag towels and put dishwasher on,surprised we weren't expected to clean windows lol,anyway still enjoyed the hol,won't be back though
