Our cottages offers 70m2 of living accommodation with a kitchen/dining/living room downstairs. Upstairs you will find a large open plan double bedroom, small room with bunk beds, bathroom with a washing machine & a separate toilet. The cottages are well insulated, modern & bright. We offer a swimming pool, play area for children, petanque area, table tennis, BBQ area & mountain bike hire. We sit in a very rural & peaceful setting where we live with our dogs, cats, horses & (soon) chickens and we welcome your pets . We aim to provide fresh vegetables & fruits from our own well kept, landscaped, gardens where you can also find two fish ponds. There is lots of scope for outdoor activities and we have 3 mountain bikes available for our guests. We are not too far from the mountains or nice town...

Great time.
Had a lovely time very peaceful location and plenty to see and places to visit. Loes was a fanastic host, accommodation was great lovely swimming pool, perfect place to relax and enjoy the countryside.

Vriendelijk en rustig
Clan Boucheron bestaat uit een 3-1 kap waarvan wij 1 van de huisjes hadden. Een heerlijke woning, geschikt voor mensen met (jongere) kinderen. De tuin is groot met een groot grasveld en een tafeltennis-tafel, zwembad en zelfs kan er een trampoline opgezet worden.
Wat ik heel fijn vond, is dat de keuken met een oven is uitgerust, maar ook van de buitenbarbecue hebben wij veelvuldig gebruik gemaakt. Dit is alleen wel even schipperen met de buren - als je tegelijkertijd wil bbq'n dan kan je er voor kiezen om gezamenlijk te eten, of te wachten. Voor ons was dat eerste geen enkel probleem!
We hebben genoten van de tuin, met de druiven en de bramen die we vrij konden plukken.
In de omgeving is genoeg te zien en te beleven - ook de stadjes als Montlucon en Moulins zijn goed te bereiken.
Wij hebben met onze jongens een kano-tocht op de Sioulle gemaakt, startpunt Ebruil.
Loes en John: heel veel succes met het verder opbouwen en uitbreiden van jullie Clan Boucheron!

Ah bedankt Xandra voor de lieve woorden. We hadden het gemerkt van die barbeque, die in jullie week bijzonder populair was, en we hebben dan ook tijdens jullie bezoek besloten dat er een tweede bij gaat komen. Hetzelfde geldt voor een picnic tafel. Dan heeft elke gite een complete set zonder te hoeven 'schipperen' aangezien het 3e huisje voor mijn 'moeder' is. Vraag me even af of de jongens er toch een race van probeerde te maken met de kanoes ;-P. Hartelijke groetjes, John en Loes

Perfect holliday, kids loved it!
We hebben een perfecte vakantie gehad. Genoten van de rust en de omgeving. Kids lekker gespeeld en lekker gezwommen in het mooie grote zwembad. Huisjes ook erg leuk en voorzien van alle nodige gemakken. De prijs dubbel en dwars waard.

Wonderful place to stay - pure relaxation
Can't stress how wonderful this vacation rental was in terms of comfort, beauty, welcome and someplace to get away from it all. First the hosts were warm, welcoming, helpful and gracious. The location is out in the country but the property itself offers two great vacation homes. Both with 2 bedrooms, a spacious bathroom with wonderful shower along with its own washer/dryer. There is a large double bedroom (very comfortable bed) equipped with a crib for families, a smaller bedroom with bunk beds and a larger lounge/kitchen space. The lounge has two very comfortable sleeper type couches. A nice compact equipped kitchen with a good size refrigerator. There are bikes available for use, and the property itself has a good size swimming pool, outdoor table tennis, a barbeque amid beautiful gardens and large expanses of grass. Even better each unit has its own private patio space with table and chairs along with an umbrella. There are loungers also located on the property if you choose to just bask in the beauty of nature and take advantage of the sunny locale. There is also a strong wi-fi signal throughout to keep you connected (if you choose). It is a short drive to a well stocked supermarket so that you can stock up on food. The countryside offers quaint villages and great scenery. As there is no ambient light - the starts at night are amazing. We spent a long weekend and can say, without any hesitation, that this would be the perfect spot for vacationing couples or families.

Great gites and stunning gardens in beautiful surroundings
My husband and me stayed at Le clan boucheron with friends for a short stay. The owners John&Loes are more than friendly and helpful. The gites are fully equipped and well taken care of. You can sit outside and enjoy the stunning garden and peaceful surroundings. These surroundings are perfect for hikes or riding the bikes. The little villages are all historic sites and worth a visit as is the beautiful drive to them.
We will go back for a longer stay 😊

Had the pleasure of staying at Clan boucheron for a few days ,This is a spectacular setting in rural central France.If you like quiet relaxing peaceful holidays this is the place for you.With lush green pastures as far as the eye can see and fantastic country roads and lanes ideal for walking or cycling (bikes available from your hosts John and Loes)this is a great place to stay.I would highly recommend Clan boucheron to all.Thanks for a wonderful experience❤️

About the neighbourhood
although we are a very rural location and a car is necessary, the nearby village of Cosne D'Allier has all amenities and is a mere 7km away. We are also very close to the Troncais forest the largest Oak forest in Europe, and just an hours drive from the chain of Volcano's. Nice towns like Montlucon and Moulins are about half an hour drive away.
