Come spend a weekend or longer in our cozy farmhouse located in the northern Catskills farm country of Delaware County. For your group of six or less, the house is a perfect place to relax, explore the area's bookstores or take a bike ride or a hike on the Catskill Scenic Trail. If you're attending a destination wedding, we are within an easy drive of many of the area's more popular wedding venues. Cooperstown, with the Baseball Hall of Fame and Farmer's Museum, is an easy 45 minute day trip away, as are four popular ski areas (Windham, Hunter, Belleayre and Plattekill). The interior of the house was recently remodeled and we offer guests two queen size beds and two twin beds with all linens provided. About the neighbourhood
The Rich Country Farmhouse is located on our family owned farm just outside of the small village of Hobart, NY. We are about a 3 1/2 hour drive from New York City. Locally, we are 20 minutes from Delhi, Roxbury and Bovina and about 45 minutes from Cooperstown, Windham and Hunter. The Catskill Scenic Trail is right in our backyard and there are several used bookstores just a very short drive away in Hobart and South Kortright. During ski season, you can easily get to the ski areas at Hunter, Windham, Belleayre in 45 minutes and Ski Plattekill is literally 'right over the hill' in Roxbury.
