Indulge yourself at Nature's Harmony. Getaway to this luxurious cabin tucked into North Carolina's premier mountainside. Nature's Harmony is more than your traditional vacation rental, but rather a warm inviting log cabin in the woods. This 1920’s built log cabin centrally located in an area minutes from charming downtown Hendersonville and a short drive to Asheville is tucked between multiple hiking trails with picturesque scenes. From the moment you walk through the front door you will be astounded by the beautiful log walls with white chinking, hardwood floors, beams and a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. To make this room even more inviting, a leather couch and chairs with cushy throw pillows summon you to curl up with a good book. From the moment you walk through the front door you will be astounded by the beautiful log walls with white chinking, hardwood floors, beams and a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. To make this room even more inviting, a leather couch and chairs with cushy throw pillows summon you to curl up with a good book. In the corner is a game table which faces the 48” TV so you won’t miss any of the action of your favorite team or show. A plethora of games and puzzles are available if you wish to unplug and enjoy good old fashioned fun! The original cabin has a unique feel. As you wander from room to room you may notice a creak in the floorboard or a spot that isn’t quite level. These foibles are what make this place truly charming. There have been a couple of additions over the years to update the living space. The second bedroom, on the main floor, next to the living room has a plush-top queen-sized bed, hardwood floors with area rug to keep your toes toasty and a 32” TV. This bedroom is adjacent to a bathroom with two separate sinks, toilet and tub/shower unit. Upstairs you will find the third bedroom with its plush queen mattress, cozy chair and two closets. A 32” TV sets atop the dresser so you can catch up on news from the outside world. A half bath can also be found upstairs. If you want to enjoy a home-cooked meal, all you have to do is provide the food! Nature’s Harmony comes stocked with all of the essential kitchen tools for baking and cooking, i.e. electric stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, and large refrigerator as well as the basic dishes, small appliances, cookware and spices a gourmet cook could possibly need. There is island seating as well as a dining area which will seat eight. A huge master suite with sitting area has a pullout sofa bed and comfy chairs accompanied by a 50” TV. This area is so large that it can be divided for more privacy if guests decide to stay overnight. Luxuriate in the brand new master bathroom with double sinks, enclosed commode room, and large walk-in shower. In a closet attached to the master bath is a large capacity washer and dryer so you don’t have to take your dirty clothes home. Lay in the king-size plush bed and enjoy the sound of rustling leaves as you gaze out the patio doors which open into the large screened-in porch. From here you can take in views of the gardens, sip cocktails and unwind, or enjoy the morning paper with your coffee. There is also a fire pit so you can roast marshmallows or star gaze at the vast sky at night in the private backyard. The availability of multiple living areas allows for conversations to evolve in a way that the modern world often interrupts. We want you to turn off your cell phone and computer if you need a break from your busy life. WiFi and cell signal still allow for a reality check if work demands a few minutes of your time. Log cabin in town with all the essentials
We enjoyed our stay at Nature's Harmony. We had most everything we needed to make it a enjoyable and relaxing stay. The location was great to get to Dupont State Forest, Pisgah Forest, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Ingles was just down the street and most everything was close enough. The children enjoyed cards at the game table. Thanks for sharing your home!

Hidden gem in the Blue Ridge mountains
Nestled off a nondescript street at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Parkway, we discovered the Nature Harmony vacation rental through AirBNB. It has ample parking for up to 3 cars, two bathrooms, and can easily sleep 8 adults. The cabin itself is very well-maintained and comes up with all necessary supplies in the kitchen, including cleaning powders and spices. The amenities are modern, with latest washer-dryer, microwave, and oven. They even have 2 types of coffee makers, a BBQ grill, and patio for morning coffee. There is no cable TV but Internet works great. The lodge looks beautiful, and has been tastefully decorated. A nice library and study desk are welcome touches, plus the welcome drink waiting on the kitchen island. The checkout rules are strict, and you need to keep 30 minutes to reset the house the way you found it. There are nice food places and grocery stores nearby, but it does get very dark and quiet after sunset. All in all, a memorable and comfortable vacation in the clean and quiet air of North Carolina.

Thank you for the wonderfully thorough review. You mentioned that we don’t have cable at Nature’s Harmony. I am not sure why you thought there was no cable, as we do have DIRECTV. We are glad to hear that the internet worked well for you as it never fails to disappoint. We do have a strict checkout time of 11:00 a.m. (unless prior arrangements have been made) so our cleaning staff has sufficient time to clean and prepare the home for the next guests arriving at 4:00 p.m. You mentioned that it was quite dark and quiet after sundown. One nice thing about where the cabin is located is that it is just outside of town and offers a restful location away from the bright lights of the city. We have wonderful neighbors and a very quiet neighborhood. We are so very happy you enjoyed your stay!

so cute!!! gave us the real feel of country!
other than the TVs and lack of more channels... it was a great place to come home too after a day of house hunting!! we certainly would stay here again.

Great Get-A-Way
Great place & soooo comfortable! We had a Retirement get together here with 6 people attending. We were all very happy with our surroundings. Garden was beautiful. Completely stocked...including hair dryers!!! The owners were fabulous & even left us a bottle of wine Thoughtful & quick to respond. Suggestion: Added cooling needed upstairs bedroom/bath.
