This rental was perfect for our family that was in town visiting. The ranch style had a great layout and was roomy enough to let everyone have their own space. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for morning walks. Our host was very considerate and personable, leaving some welcome gifts to help us enjoy our stay! Will be back!

I literally could not have been happier with this ...
I literally could not have been happier with this home or the host. I needed a place to host my family for NCSU parents’ weekend and this was the perfect house. Beautifully decorated with some amazing art pieces it immediately felt like home. Our host left a bunch of little welcoming touches that def put it over the top for us. The home is exceptionally clean, quiet, and has absolutely everything you might possibly need or want. Our host was easy to reach and very responsive to communication. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

We have never truly stayed in a place that made us feel more welcome. There was every necessity you could ever think of in this home. The house is spotless, beautifully decorated, comfy beds, lush towels, beautiful neighborhood, very quaint backyard, and we absolutely loved the enclosed front porch. We spent a lot of time out there savoring the mornings & the evenings, away from the bugs! We also loved to be in the kitchen at the windows and watching the birds on the feeders, and in the baths. Would fly across the country again just to stay here!

Vauxhill House has every amenity you could want in...
Vauxhill House has every amenity you could want in a VRBO. It has been meticulously planned for everyone's enjoyment, from the well-furnished kitchen to the fluffy bath towels, the hostesses, Caron and Dana, have thought of everything. It is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood. The screened front porch invites you to relax with a good book, and the back deck and gazebo are the perfect place to enjoy your morning muffin and cup of tea or coffee. You are surrounded by morning sounds . . . the birds in the trees and wind chimes in the breeze along with the crisp, fresh smells of nature. The back yard at night is magical with the lighted lanterns in the tree branches and twinkle lights woven in the greenery.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Vauxhill House, but our preferences are for firmer mattresses and we would have liked a shade or curtain on the master bathroom window.

We were in town for our daughter's wedding in Wake...
We were in town for our daughter's wedding in Wake Forest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property! Caron and Dana thought of everything; it truly was home away from home.
The extra touches of wine and cheese upon our arrival were so thoughtful and much appreciated. The art, decor, and candles and decorative lights on timers made for a special ambiance. The wildlife watching was fantastic; a bunny in the front yard and a variety of birds and squirrels in the back. We were so disappointed that due to the weather we didn't get to enjoy the back patio and front porch as they were so inviting.
The master bed was too soft for our personal preference, but overall we would highly recommend this property and definitely stay again!

Our visit to Raleigh was to attend our nephew's HS graduation. We were 10 min from our brother's home. Great location! Great neighborhood! The home was very clean and comfortable... from the bed to the living room furniture. We will definitely book for our next visit!
