Upscale vacationing
My family and I arrived on June 1, 2019 and was immediately surprised over the condition of the home. Everything is very nice and in top condition the walk to the beach is at most a small city block. The amenities were top scale, the hot tub and pool was used a lot ! Next time I think we will have the pool heat added. The kids enjoyed the pool but it was a bit to chilly for me. The washer stopped working while we was there , but Vino replaces it the next day. He has went above and beyond to make sure our stay at Carolina Breeze was amazing ! I would recommend staying in Carolina Breeze ! The house was very comfy!!

Relaxing with the family
Carolina Breeze is a great family environment. The beach is 100 yards away and the bay is a block away. We went to the amusement area which is within walking distance. We spent more time at the pool and in the hot tub which is delightful. The house is really in a great area.

Beautiful vacation
Far enough from the commercialized are but close enough to enjoy it if you choose. Ocean on one side and the Sound on the other. Easy to walk to either in a couple minutes. Just remember there is no lifeguards and RIP currents are dangerous.

Just wanted to mention, the affordability of Carolina Breeze! A host (Vino B.), that is diligent, responsive and conscientious. My Family truly enjoyed their stay, experience and most importantly...memories were created! Now, that's the most rewarding take away!

Spacious beach house perfect for both relaxing and lots of beach fun
Our family recently stayed at Carolina Breeze. Both young and old enjoyed the house amenities that included pool, screened porch, hot tub, jigsaw puzzles, pool table, large kitchen and dining area, full view of both sunsets and sunrises, beautiful beach, and many nearby activities. Rained nearly entire week but fun was found every day including kite surfing, wild horse safari, aquarium, kiting, long walks, delicious nearby take out and dine in restaurants to choose from, and quiet spacious beach house and yard when quiet time wanted. 3 decks that provide views from porch swings, hot tub, and comfortable deck chairs. Swam on cool days in rain as pool was heated. Vino answered all requests and questions prior to arrival on timely basis so no surprises or questions on arrival. Area natives very friendly and helpful. Our family gives Carolina Breeze an A+.

Comfy cozy and close to the beach
So many rooms that were all softly carpetted, and a wood floor kitchen that was easy to sweep. I was only eleven but it was incredible. Only complaint is that smells can get trapped easy if you have soemthing stinky by the door. Beach is walking distance and was fun to play on. (I actually went in 2011)

Carolina Breeze OBX
House was more amazing in person than the pics. Well equipped house with everything a large family would need. Walk to the beach, sound and gift shops. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets without leaving the decks. Owner Vino kept in touch informing of the weather and road conditions. Will definitely stay there again but maybe not during hurricane season. Love love the area and house.

Loved our vacation
If you've never rented a VRBO, have no fear! Vino is great. Vino contacted us the week before letting us know about the electric problem the island had - visitors evacuated, no power, the week before we were to arrive. He kept us updated throughout the week. Once we arrived the house was clean and in great shape. The views were wonderful from the decks. The pool and hot tub were also fantastic! A very short walk to the beach! Bike / walking paths were wonderful. We had no wi-fi, and Vino was extremely quick to respond & fix. The batteries died on the door key pad and we called maintenance. They were out replacing the batteries within the hour. Overall a great experience and hoping to return in 2019!!

Love this house! We keep coming back!!
This is the 5th or 6th year that we have stayed at Carolinas breeze and we love it! There are always updates - this year it was hardwood floors! It's an easy walk to the beach and the pool and hot tub are great.

We had an awesome week with the kids and grandkids!
We enjoyed the private pool, the easy walk to the beach, repeat, over and over and also that it was away from the more congested areas north of Rodanthe but not too far away. Highly recommend!!!

About the neighbourhood
As you drive South from the historically rich area of Manteo, you'll pass miles and miles of open land. On both sides of you are sand dunes and water. Then you come to the tip of the Southern Outer Banks and the town of Rodanthe. The northernmost town of the tri-village area offers travelers raw beauty with its spacious and unspoiled beaches, sand dunes and lush flora and fauna. Many who travel to the town make the common mistake of grouping Rodanthe in with the two closely linked towns of Waves and Salvo, yet they are each distinct towns. Many come to this area for the quiet relaxation so easily available. Though, if you're looking for more excitement than sitting in a hammock while watching the sun set over the sound, then you also can find that in Rodanthe.
Water sports are popular on the shores of this beach because of the great winds the Southern Outer Banks gets. If you've already tried the amazing sport of wind surfing or kite boarding, then you probably bring your own boards. For those looking to get in on the action, REAL Kite boarding offers lessons for the sport indigenous to the Outer Banks. Or, if you just need rentals, you can find most any kind of water sport equipment at the shop. The Chicamacomico Life Saving Station provides education entertainment with their museum. They also perform re-enactments of life saving venture each week. Environmentalist enjoy the wildlife refuge just north of the area, where many different species of birds call home. No matter what you're after, you'll find it in Rodanthe.
