We needed a place to stay near to the township of Tanunda and were lucky to find the Barossa Idyll, which was not only close to town, but was a real art-deco surprise. The location, the view, the spacious lounge areas and the little touches made our three day stay one that we've remembered for a long time since. We recommend this place for groups, large or small.

Thank you so much for your review of Barossa Idyll, our accommodation is very close to all Tanunda and the wider Barossa has to offer. The house has been architectually designed for space and views over the vineyards below us. Barossa Idyll therefore has a great ambience and comfort for groups. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and all the beautiful features of the era that Barossa Idyll offers. We look forward to seeing you on your next stay! cheers Tracey

Fantastic place if you are visiting the Barossa Valley! Perfect location in the little village, close to lovely restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. House is even more beautiful than in the pictures. Even though so close to everything you feel secluded as the living room and the backyard is opening up out towards the beautiful landscape and vineyards. House is big and easily fitted the 10 of us. We almost got lost! Great equipped kitchen and beautiful interiors. Caring and sweet host leaving welcome gifts (yum for the local wine, cheese and pate). We accidentally left something behind and Tracey sent it all the way to Sydney. Will definitely return next time in the Barossa!

We were a group of friends wanting to chill out for a few days, and enjoy some of the amazing wineries and restaurants in the Barossa region. We chose to stay at Barossa Idyll, as it gave us space, and there were a few bathrooms (that didn't require walking through someone's bedroom). The house is in a great location in Tanunda, with an easy walk into town. It was quiet and spacious, with a couple of lounges, and dining areas, nice size bedrooms, and spacious kitchen. We spent a lot of the time out, but it was nice to come back to a relaxed home at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend this home for a group. Tracey was efficient with her messaging and answering questions. Dining chairs nearest the kitchen were a bit soft, but easily swapped with the ones in the main dining room .. for some reason everyone congregated in the smaller space!

Barossa Idyll is exactly what the name suggests - a beautiful home right in Tanunda township which is a perfect base to explore the Barossa. There's plenty in walking distance - shops, restaurants and pubs - plus its a short drive from wineries and attractions. The home itself is beautifully maintained with a bit of retro charm and a big yard - we loved having a wine by the fire pit!

This home is perfect for a couple or larger groups wanting to stay in a beautiful home in a great location. Can’t recommend highly enough. Even with a large group there was plenty of space - the backyard fire pit was a highlight. Would love to return!

Myself and 7 girlfriends recently stayed here for an extended long weekend of visiting wineries. This beautiful house catered to our every need - even down to the fire place having been stacked perfectly so all we needed to do was light it. Gorgeous views and peaceful location yet only a couple of minutes walk into town. The perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the gorgeous Barossa Wine Region. Tracey made the whole booking process very easy and was excellent to deal with throughout our stays with any questions that we had. Highly recommend.
