Perfect apartment for what we needed! Upon arrival there was a note and a bottle of wine left by the owners Rich and Tisha. Cereal, fruit, milk, orange juice and farm fresh eggs were there supplied by our hosts. The location ended up working out great as well. One direction was ECU and the other Sneads Ferry, two places we needed to be on this trip. We will definitely be back, thank you again!

This was our second time staying at this property. It is clean and had all the comforts of home. Trisha and Rich have thought of everything and are incredible hosts. My children enjoy the farm so much. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved our stay. Only regret is that we only had one night. Such a relaxing, serene setting and gracious, friendly hosts. Tons of space for the dogs to run around, and only time we put them on leash was during part of our mile long walk around the cow pastures, when the boys were a bit uncertain at first on meeting the cows and donkey. We put thrm on leash just so the boys would not worry the cattle/chickens. Enjoyed the thoughtful food options provided by the hosts. Will absolutely look to stay here again in the future - just for more than one night! 😎👍

This was our 2nd stay at Wallace Meadows Farm. It provided exactly what we were looking for...a quiet, comfortable escape from July 4th craziness. Rich & Tisha are wonderfully kind, accommodating hosts. The guest house is spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished & tastefully decorated. The farm is a scenic spot with entertainment provided by cows, chickens & a donkey. When we arrived, the guesthouse was stocked with an assortment of breakfast goodies & farm-fresh eggs. The small gym below the guesthouse (4 machines & some dumbbells), as well as the 1-mile walking trail around the farm, made it easy to stay active without leaving the property. For those seeking more sightseeing & dining options, the historic town of New Bern is close by. Overall, we highly recommend the Wallace Meadows Farm Guesthouse, and we will surely return.

Rich and Tisha are wonderful hosts. It is a very relaxing place to stay and unwind. If you like country living, this is the best place to stay hands down. 1000% would recommend to anybody.

We can’t say enough good things about this property! The hosts have thought of everything and their attention to detail is outstanding. It had all the amenities we could have needed and many we hadn’t even thought of! One of the best surprises was a full size crib in the master closet for our one year old. It made for a nice little separate room for him and all the beds were very soft and comfortable. It’s been awhile since we’ve all slept that well! Hands down the best property and host combination we’ve had at a Vrbo!

The home was beautiful and charming . Every detail was carefully planned. When arriving we were met by the owner and their beautiful dog Ginger Rich was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed and more. We started to get our things in and noticed a bottle of wine and glasses put out for us. Pastries,milk, orange juice two kinds of cereal so if we came in late we could enjoy breakfast. So thoughtful. So many more amenities I can't even tell you about all of them. The most wonderful place we've ever stayed at.

Our stay here was amazing. The Wallaces included all kinds of personal touches: farm fresh eggs, danishes, Keurig coffee pods, and a complimentary bottle of wine, just to name a few! Mr. Wallace came over to greet us when we arrived, and we totally felt at home. There is a nice trail and river access, and our dog was intensely curious about the cows! Would recommend to anyone and would be thrilled to stay here again.
