This was our fifth trip to the middle keys and our fourth vacation rental. We have loved them all, but this is our favorite to date.
Alida is super responsive, right from the beginning and inquiring about renting right through the week before we arrived. She responded to my questions quickly and thoroughly.
We arrived in the dark, and were helped along with motion lights that led us easily into the house. It was sparkling clean when we arrived and the home has EVERYTHING.
Tons of linens, huge well appointed kitchen, and the play toys for outside seem endless. We had a blast on the giant inflatable rubber duck and swan and spent hours laughing our heads off on them both in the pool and in the gulf.
Fishing off the dock was FANTASTIC but even better was the sheer volume of water life to watch. Sharks, snappers, lobsters, dolphins, and many species of fish create your own aquarium to watch all day.
Loved having the kayak to be able to explore the neighborhood.
The pool was great, we wished we had paid to have it heated though, a north wind rolled in for a couple of days and a heated pool would have been a little more comfortable on those days.
The location on Morton Street is really awesome too, private but close to everything in the middle keys.
The turtle grass did roll in, but that is true wherever you go up and down the keys, it's a critical element to helping preserve the coral reefs and the beauty of the keys we all love so much, and it really is not a big deal.
We cannot wait to go back to Sunset Catch, the minute we know spring break dates for 2020, we will be booking!!!
