Far Moor End looks amazing in the photographs, it reads amazing in the description but nothing, and I mean nothing, compares to how utterly fantastic the place is in real life. The place was super. Owners lovely and very welcoming. Exceeded our expectations all round. The property was massive and all rooms were generous in size. Very comfortable indeed. Communal areas were great. Again lots of space for big groups. We were 16 adults and the property still felt huge. The garden was also very big. Perfect for those with children/dogs....

15 of us stayed here for a collective 40th celebration weekend. The house accommodated us with ease. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and the whole house was spotlessly clean. A beautiful vista of hills from the back deck and gloriously secluded. We enjoyed a 7 mile walk around Ennerdale water and a pub dinner at the local Fox and hounds...
