Robyn Cottage is a barn conversion on a working farm, which the owners have equipped to a high standard. There are exposed beams, galleried entrance hall and spacious living accommodation.
The first floor consists of 3 bedrooms - a double, twin and adult sized bunk beds which are all en-suite, one with shower over the bath, and two with shower units. There is also the convenience of a toilet on the ground floor.
The ground floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen/diner opening out into a large spacious lounge which has a log burning stove - logs included. The accommodation is centrally heated and the water is sourced from our own borehole.
The outside space consists of a patio and furniture where you can enjoy alfresco dining. A large grassed area is available for ball games. Parking available for 2 cars per cottage.

We stayed for a week in August as a family of 6 (4 adults and 2 children). The cottage was immaculate, well maintained and felt like a true home away from home. The location perfect for us - we were in the country, but only a short drive to Silloth, Carlisle and the Lakes. Elaine and her family were wonderful...

We have just returned from a week away in Robyn Cottage. The house was ideal for our party of six (four adults and two children). The cottage was perfect. It was clean, well maintained and equipped with everything to make it home from home. We really could not fault it. The house had three good bedrooms each with en suite...

We are in the perfect location for touring the beautiful Lake District, the Solway Coast, historic Hadrian's Wall Country and over the border to Scotland.

The historic market town of Wigton, that recently celebrated its 750th anniversary of being granted its market charter, is 3 miles away and provides a good selection of local shops and amenities. A village shop and garage, 1.5 miles away, sells local produce.

The area is well provided with public transport - bus 1 mile and train station 3 miles away.

This is a great central base for exploring the northern lakeland fells and the pretty market town of Penrith and the Eden valley. The historic Hadrian's Wall and roman settlements provide a great day out for all the family.
