Brook house farm is a smallholding and has some horses and ponies, some sheep and chickens. We also have two friendly dachshunds and a rather grumpy border terrier. Dogs are welcome by arrangement and horses can also be brought by arrangement as there is beautiful walking and riding nearby. Only a small lane and then miles of countryside to roam in. There are several National Trust properties in the area as well as ruined castles and the Historic Ironbridge museums and sites are only about 40 minutes away. The town of Leominster is full of antique shops and has a busy auction house and Ludlow has beautiful buildings and interesting shops plus a market 3 days a week and farmers' markets, craft markets and antique markets on other days. The village of Yarpole with it's award winning shop in the church and a pub is about 20min walk away on footpaths across fields. The flat has a large en-suite shower room, a spacious sitting area and a compact kitchen fitted with a ceramic hob and a combination microwave and a round table to eat your meals. The bed is an antique brass double bed with a really comfortable mattress. There are lots of original old beams and the floor has a bit of a slope to it! The rent includes linen and electricity and towels More

A splendid rural retreat in the middle of the countryside on the Herefordshire/Shropshire border within easy reach of Leominster and Ludlow. Friendly owners who live in the main building and more than enough facilities for a short break.
