It is a stylish and comfortable detached house in a quiet location with stunning panoramic country views and a private enclosed garden. Within easy reach of coast, beaches and nearest towns, just step outside for beautiful country walks and cycling routes. It is the perfect base for friends and families wishing to spend time together and enjoy a relaxing break at any time of the year with the micro climate of the island giving weather that is often better than elsewhere in the UK. Patio doors and large windows give a light and airy feel to the house while good insulation and central heating make Three Gables warm and cosy in the the colder months and solar panels provide the hot water in the warmer months. Master bedroom has zip and link, can be kingsize or 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 with double bed, toddler bed, Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Bedroom 4, has double bed( on ground floor). bed 5 has 2 full sized single beds. Large bespoke kitchen with Rangemaster electric cooker, fridge/ freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishwasher . A large table comfortably seats 10. Spacious lounge with ample seating for 10. Large TV with freeview, smart blu ray/dvd, CD and ipod dock. French doors that lead onto the decked veranda and garden to the front. The garden is suitable for children,it is terraced there are grassed flat ares accessible via slopes and steps, there is a fence to ensure safety, a decked area, a patio and lawns. BBQ, outdoor furniture and games are provided. The property is not adapted for wheelchairs but is suitable for people with restricted mobility. Access to the property includes a step into the house. On the ground floor is an en suite bedroom, the kitchen, lounge, bedroom 5 and separate family bathroom.There is a shop 2 minutes walk away (open March -Nov). and a pub 1.5 miles. There are easy drives to local towns for shopping and the many tourist attractions around the island.The county town of Newport is only 6 miles away and historic Yarmouth is 3 miles away, The nearest beach is also 3 miles.* Free wifi.*We have secure lockable storage for bikes, sporting equipment etc.Public Transport – There is a bus service that passes the near the end of the drive from/to Yarmouth ferry or Newport. Contact me for discounted ferry . A damage deposit of £250 is payable to the owner 4 weeks before the start of your holiday. EV charging is extra depending on our current supplier charges. A lovely stay!
I booked a two night stay for a hen party. The house was very clean, with comfortable beds, a spacious kitchen for ten of us to have dinner and a wonderful living room with a wood burner (a highlight for us!) We'd have loved to have had the time to make use of the lovely garden space Roma was prompt with all responses, and very accommodating of our needs. She also booked ferry tickets for us with a discounted rate. Thank you for a great stay and fantastic communication, which made everything run smoothly!

Our second visit in two years which is a recommendation in itself.
Our second visit for a week with children and grandchildren (party of 10) which the house copes with comfortably. Very well equipped and appointed house with a lovely garden. Kitchen /diner has wonderful views over farmland. The owners, who live in an adjacent property, are very friendly and helpful. The house is situated in a quiet village but with easy access to main roads and amenities.

Perfect for all ages
An excellent, well planned and very comfortable holiday home with a great garden and views. Three generations of our family (4 months to 74 years old) - and our 3 dogs - had a wonderful time with warm weather. So much to do on the island as a group - beaches (wild and more traditional sand and picnic spots), Butterfly World, Mottistone, Taplin Farm, Yarmouth Castle. Thank you Roma for arranging ferries, recommending some good places to eat and being so welcoming. We hope to back before long. (30 September - 7 October 2023)

Spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, excellently situated.
Wonderfully spacious, very comfortable and exceptionally well-equipped house on a scenic site, superbly situated for visiting all parts of the island. Friendly and very helpful owners live next door - Roma provided a great deal of help and information before our visit to assist with ferries and advice on things to see and do. Our only disappointment was that we weren't able to use the attractive garden facilities much because of inclement weather (but being cosy inside made up for that!)

Fabulous holiday home to suit all
The house is amazing with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. Beautifully clean and well equipped. Garden is immaculate and the youngsters enjoyed all the garden games. Nice quiet location with amazing views. Visited the Alpacas and llamas which are about 5 mins away. Compton and Brook beaches were enjoyed by the dogs. Would definately come back to the property again if we visit the island.

Family holiday IOW 2023
Second time we have stayed at Three Gables with our family and both times we have had a super holiday. The house is very spacious, well presented and maintained with a beautiful well kept large garden. The owners are extremely helpful and the house was spick and span on our arrival. Beautiful clean bedding and towels. Personally we could not fault it in any way.

Amazing Experience
Have only 1 word to say about our stay at the Three Gables: AMAZING. Roma is very helpful and the house has been maintained very well and can easily accommodate a big family. My personal favourite was the back garden, where my retriever enjoyed rolling around.

Family Celebration
Just returned from a wonderful family get together at Three Gables. The accommodation was perfect for all of us (9 adults/1 child and 2 dogs!) with plenty of room. The house is in a lovely location with beautiful views from the rear of the property and plenty to see and do in the area. The property was spotlessly clean, beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms for all of us. I can thoroughly recommend Three Gables and can't wait to return!

Wonderful holiday, would definitely recommend.
Lovely location, views amazing. Our three grandchildren loved playing in the large garden and the seven adults loved relaxing and playing with them. The Nearby beach was visited every morning of our stay. There is so much for children to do on the island, Black Gang, Robin Hill, Tapnall Farm to name but a few. There are also lovely restaurants which were much appreciated by the adults. Three Gables is a lovely house, fully equipped for all our needs and we would therefore definitely recommend.

About the neighbourhood
No where is too far on the Isle of Wight, you are never more than a few miles to a beach or attraction. There are many good pubs and restaurants nearby. Our nearest beach is 3 miles. we are less than 30 mins walk (just over a mile) to our nearest dog friendly pub which has won the friendliest dog pub of the year on the Island and in the top 10 for the south of England.
Getting around
The number 7 bus stops 20 meters from the end of our drive which links Newport and Yarmouth, it leaves every hour, you can buy a rover ticket for up to 5 adults to get unlimited travel around the island. Travelling by foot to the island you can have a rover ticket for 5 adults for £1 a day when you stay at our gold green tourist awarded house.
