Part of the conversion from the old Barclays Bank this holiday home offers luxury and comfort, suiting couples or a small family. It has been recently furnished and equipped with everything our guests need to to have an enjoyable relaxing stay. We provide high quality bed linen, luxury towels, fully equipped Kitchen and lots of storage space.
A Welcome Pack is there for guests on arrival, it includes tea, coffee, local jams/biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge. We also provide fresh flowers just make guests feel welcome.

I will personall welcome all guests unless you are arriving late and I am unable to be there but I will text over the keybox code prior to arrival, plus I am available should guests need any assistance. I do a quick intro to the Cottage, show guests where everything is and where the Utility Room is. There is a file in there for guests which gives info about the property, travel, local amenties, etc., plus I am always available for any queries. There is also a lot of leaflets etc., on local activities and places to visit.

Belford is a beautiful village. The house was very well equipped, comfortable and clean/ tidy. We had a great time visiting local resorts.

About the neighbourhood
The rural town of Belford is located 11/2 miles west of the A1 with traditional village pubs and several amenities. The area is ideal for visitors looking to explore the many qualities of with Northumbria with its beautiful beaches, majestic castles, stunning scenery or just relax and enjoy the many places to eat and visit. Thanks to good road and rail links Edinburgh and Newcastle upon Tyne are within easy reach for a spot of retail therapy and sight seeing. There are many local shops providing a good range of local and specialised goods.
Getting around
We are about a mile from the main A1, ideal when travelling by car and there is a very good bus service which stopd about 100 yards up the road, can be seen from the Cottage, for travelling north to Berwick and south to Alnwick, plus the coastal bus to Bamburgh/Seahouses.

Guests always receive an email from me about a week prior to arrival giving direction to Belford and how to find us. There is parking directly outside in bays and there are lots of free parking in the Market Place across the road.
