Cottage
The Square is a cosy historic cottage situated in a peaceful sunny corner, just off the centre of the village. It's close to shops, cafes, good pubs, and a stone's throw from the marina and West Somerset Steam Railway. It makes a perfect base for exploring the delightful scenic areas of Exmoor and the Quantock Hills. The cottage has a kitchen/dining room and sitting room downstairs with two bedrooms (one standard double and 2 standard singles) and a shower room upstairs. It is 200 years old and is thought to have been constructed using timber ships broken down in the harbour. Outside there's a small patio open to a public footpath which leads to the car park. It's perfect for a couple of small family (2 adults and 2 children), or up to 3 adults as it's a small cottage. The cottage is extremely characterful with two foot thick walls, an unusually wide staircase from an old ship, and has quirks like some low doorways. There is plenty of parking available close by in several public car parks which are free from 6pm to 9am. Pay and display during the day to a maximum of £5 a day.More
