This estate sits in the heart of downtown Beaverton where food, drinks, and entertainment is a short walk away. There are two primary buildings and an incredible patio courtyard that is available for guests use. The two buildings that make up the primary portion of the compound are referred to as the 'Cottage' and the 'Villa'. Please refer to the picture that shows the multi level floor plan and layout for the most accurate layout information. When facing the compound from the street, the building on the left is the 'cottage'. Inside, there is one bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor and the other two bedrooms are on the second floor. One has two twin beds and the other has another queen. The single full bath is on the main floor near the kitchen. You will see thoughtful updated decor throughout the home augmenting the old world rustic bones of this incredible cottage. The building on the right is the 'villa'. This is a renovated photography studio set up for short term rental use. The main floor boasts a large living area with a refrigerator and kitchenette style amenity. There are two private bedrooms on the main floor and a bedroom nook with additional sleeping. There are also two full bathrooms. Upstairs you will find two more private bedrooms and a kids playroom with toys. It is an amazing little amenity for families or groups traveling with young children. For over one hundred years this property has existed while Beaverton and Portland have grown up around it. You will find an authentic farm sink, hardwood floors, a porch swing, secret gardens and one of the more unique back yards you will ever see. It was once mostly used for a portrait studio creating an incredible yard that has picnic tables, a bbq, a sand box play area and some incredibly unique decor. The patio courtyard area is a truly special feature every family and group will enjoy. Please do note, that smoking not allowed on this property at all. At any time of day or night, if you want your coffee without the effort there is a 24 hour coffee shop moments away. After you wake up enjoy the farmers market or the Central Beaverton Park for countless activities year round. Once you have worked up an appetite there are almost too many options to list. Within a walk of just a couple minutes there is raman, Thai, Korean BBQ, Mediterranean, and of course the famous Big's Chicken. If you want something a little more upscale, check out Decarli for a tasty Italian dinner spot. About a half mile away is the Beaverton Town Center MAX stop where you can take the light rail through downtown Portland as well as to and from the Airport among many other stops through the greater Portland region. We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house. Sleeping Arrangements: Cottage: (Four total beds in three bedrooms) Main level: 1 queen Second level 2 twin beds, 1 Queen Villa: (eight total beds with six in bedrooms) Main level: 3 queens (2 in one room, 1 in the other bedroom), 2 fold out sofa beds. One is in the villa living room, the other is in the bedroom nook if you look at how they are labeled on the floor plans. Second level: 2 twin beds, 1 queen Tiny House: (1 queen bed) We can add this if needed for Estate stays if available at a dramatically discounted price.
