Interaction with guests: We are not located on the property, but our awesome 'Uncle Michael' resides in a separate residence located further down on the property. You will have complete privacy, however he is on site to handle any questions, concerns or help you may need.
Holiday lettings is a joke!!!! I got to the place I had reserved only to find it occupied! I then contacted the owner who had never heard of this company before and did not actively work with them. He had no knowledge of me or my reservation. With that said the owner Tim was amazing!! He worked with me in a way I rarely see out of people to help accommodate me even though he didn't have to. Everything about this property was amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. I will never go through holiday lettings again in reserving a place to stay. However, I will go through the proper channels to stay in this beautiful place again. I hope to even check out more of Tim's properties in the future. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Tim. Thank you so much for turning such a crappy situation into something better.

About the neighbourhood
We are located just outside the city of Lakeside about two miles away. Lakeside is home to the famous TenMile Lake which offers fishing, boating and numerous water activities. We are also located about 3 miles away from the Oregon Sand Dunes which is a neat way to see the ocean. The two largest cities on either side of Lakeside is Coos Bay/North Bend to the south, and Reedsport to the north. We are just off the 101 Freeway.
Getting around
Many guests will arrive before the designated check-in time. The good news is that there is plenty to do. We often suggest that you stop at the local grocery store - McKay's or Dollar General) for any items you may need such as firewood or charcoal. There are also a couple of restaurants and Lakeshore Lodge is a nice spot for lunch with a view of the lake from the dining room. If you are in the mood for activities, Spinreel ATV rentals is nearby and you can head to the dunes to rent an ATV or even just take a hike. If you're early enough for a picnic we highly recommend Hall Lake. If you're feeling lucky you may want to try your luck down at The Mills Indian Casino in Coos Bay. We are easy to find off a well graded dirt road, but hidden in total seclusion from neighbors. While we are secluded and hidden, we have perfect cell phone service, high speed WIFI and computer access and all TV's are Samsung Smart TV's with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Spectrum Cable.
