If you want to venture a little further Leeds is a convenient train ride away offering exceptional retail, theatre, opera, ballet and concert venues.
Accommodation comprises a large bright open plan lounge diner with bay window offering views across the valley. The Lounge has seating for 4 on two double leather sofas. An extendable dining table seats six with leather dining chairs. Through an alcove is a well equipped kitchen.
The modern kitchen is equipped to a high standard with complete sets of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery and has a gas cooker, fridge and dish washer. If you want a sociable evening in you can create your own gastro masterpiece here.
The main bedroom is a spacious double with plenty of wardrobe storage and two easy chairs and side table in the bay window. The single room features a a fitted single bed. The bathroom has whirlpool bath and electric shower. In a side cupboard is a washer dryer.

Very homely, all amenities that you need, and very conveniently situated for walking into the town for restaurants or shopping.
Andrew, the host, makes sure he does everything he can to ensure your stay is a good one.

Another great holiday in Ilkley
It is always a pleasure to return to Dalesway apartment in Ilkley. We have now had five holidays in this apartment and have already booked our sixth for next year. The apartment is extremely comfortable and equipped with everything necessary for a great holiday. It is situated in a very central and attractive part of town and the parking space at the rear of the property is such a bonus. As always, we thank Andrew for all his help.

Beautiful apartment - spacious and handy for town centre
This is a beautiful apartment, really handy for railway station, shops and eateries in Ilkley. The kitchen looked very well equipped although we didn’t actually cook in it. The sitting room was light and spacious and great for my hubby watching Tour de France in the afternoons. Good wifi. Shower and bath were great. Car parking space at back of house was great. Andrew was friendly, helpful and communicative. Perfect!

Perfect place to stay
We booked the apartment for a whole month, Andrew the host was so helpful throughout. The apartment had everything we needed and there is parking at the front and to the rear, which was really useful when friends visited and saved on parking costs. WIFI was important to me as i had to work occasionally online during the stay and it was a strong signal in all rooms.
The living room/dining room/kitchen/bedrooms were spacious enough and very comfortable.
This apartment is perfect for walking into Ilkley and also on to the moors, the train station is ony a 10 min walk away.
I would recommend this appartment to anyone planning a stay in the Ilkley area.

Another great holiday in Ilkley
This is the fourth year in succession that we have visited Ilkley. It is a town that we have come to love spending time in. The Dalesway apartment is the ideal place (and for us the ONLY place) to stay. It is situated a 5 minute walk from the centre of town and is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. A parking space so close to town is the icing on the cake. Andrew is the most helpful host and has always answered any queries we have promptly. We always enjoy this perfect holiday home and always look forward to a return visit.

Perfect location for amenities in Ilkley
Dalesway apartment was a perfect location to base ourselves as it is close to the shopping area and many of the local restaurants. The apartment is spacious and well appointed. Parking is no issue either as there is space at the back of the apartment and ample street parking ( although a permit is required which Andrew ,the owner, kindly organised). Andrew was very prompt at responding to any questions or queries we had. I could not recommend this property highly enough and I would definitely book it again.

Excellent accommodation
Very spacious and comfortable apartment in great location within a couple of minutes walk to main town. Ilkley is ideally located as a base to many great locations. Return visit being planned. On a personal note, Andrew is a great host and answered any questions we had with courtesy and speed. 100% recommended.

Long weekend in Ilkley
Well it took 18 months to finally get to Ilkley for a long weekend, Andrew the flat owner was very good in changing the first booking when COVID hit and then refunding when we had to cancel the 2nd date, as they say 3rd times the charm. The arrival process was very slick with 2 key safes to get into the building then the apartment. The apartment was very well presented with everything you would need and all in clean working order + visitors parking permit if required if not using the parking space at the rear. Location was excellent, short walk down to the street with Betty's on and then rest of the town.
It was exactly what we hoped for and it delivered above expectations. We would have no hesitation in using again.

Third visit- but not the last
This was our third visit to the Dalesway apartment which is situated within a few minutes walk of the town centre. It is in a lovely residential area and has a parking space.
The apartment is extremely comfortably furnished and well equipped, providing everything necessary for a perfect stay.
We love Ilkley and the surrounding area and feel fortunate to be able to stay in the Dalesway apartment when we visit.

The Yorkshire Dales is an exceptional destination for varied and stunning scenery. Beautiful gentle wooded Dales with bubbling rivers sit by side by side with dramatic limestone gorges and wild moorland. The Dales probably offers the best access for walkers of any region of Britain. Level walks or challenging upland treks over every distance you want. A riverside walk in Ilkley with pub lunch or take on the Dales Three Peaks which climbs the three highest peaks in the Dales in a day ! If underground is your thing there are a number of limestone cave networks with guided tours.
Take a day out to world heritage sites Fountains Abbey or Salts Mill and Saltaire Village which also hosts the Hockney Gallery.
Try a train ride on the glorious Settle Carlisle line which you can pick up in Keighley or Skipton. Canal trips are also available from Skipton on the Leeds Liverpool canal.
There is something for everyone
Then at the end of your day enjoy a stroll to a choice of restaurants and pubs without having to worry about driving or taxis.
