The concept the owners have set up is excellent. You have all the advantages of open air camping but in a luxurious environment. Of course the weather has to cooperate! Location is good and the canal plus towpath, a short walk away. The owners are...More

About the neighbourhood
We are situated on the edge of the fabulous Pewsey Vale and adjacent to the Kennet and Avon canal which is a delightful place to observe local wildlife including a family of Otters and to walk or cycle into town or deeper into the Pewsey Vale. You can easily walk to the local pubs too. We are near to the Spa city of Bath, Avebury, Stone Henge, Marlborough, Lacock, Caen Hill Locks and much more. We are also in an area which is rich in crop circles in the summer and which hosts the Crop Circle Museum in Honey Street. There are some really lovely walks locally including the Ridgeway and the spectacular Marlborough Downs and Pewsey Vale.
Getting around
We would recommend that you have a car here but it is possible to do without one if you are happy to walk quite a long way into the local town. It is a perfect place for cycling and lovely walks. There are buses from the town centre to local places of interest.
