The 1300sq ft Victorian property has recently undergone a total refurbishment, offering guests luxury and comfort on every level. On the ground floor of the house is an immaculate bay-windowed living room, elegantly designed with a decorative fireplace and patterned rugs on the hardwood floors and traditional wooden shutters. The cream sofas are arranged facing a flat-screen TV with a DVD player and a wonderful collection of films! One of these sofas can be opened up to form a double bed, comfortably accommodating two guests. There is a bright window seat which overlooks the garden and its a fantastic sun-trap throughout the day. Top of the range kitchen equipment includes a Gaggia coffee machine, Dualit appliances, large Fisher & Paykel fridge and a stunning Rangemaster cooker with induction hob. Sweeping doors open on to a well-designed garden with an al-fresco dining area and grassy lawn lined with trees which offer welcoming shade in the summer. Just off the kitchen is a utility room with a convenient WC and washbasin. On the first floor is the main family bathroom which is elegantly designed in monochrome with a bath and fixed overhead shower. Across the corridor is the elegant master bedroom with large windows which let in vast amounts of natural light. It is furnished with large built-in wardrobes and book shelves flanking the king-sized bed. Up another flight of stairs is a second bedroom designed with a warm and cosy atmosphere, with forest green walls and a weathered wood feature wall. It has a double bed, a flat screen TV/DVD and the comfort of a modern en-suite shower room. Home Truths This beautiful home is ideal for 4 guests, however a double sofa bed is available for a 5th and 6th guest A security deposit of GBP 495 will be pre-authorised by Veeve from your credit/debit card 2 days prior to your check-in date. There is also a Farmer’s Market just off Holly Road as well as some excellent pubs dotted around in close vicinity. The River Thames is a short stroll away, from which a beautiful walk along the river bank will take you straight into Richmond. Richmond is known for its plentiful cafes, shops, restaurants and green open spaces. 30 minutes from you is Ham House and Gardens, a 17th century historical building set amongst wonderful grassy grounds, little changed in 300 years yet kept in great condition!
