Trehill Holiday Cottages is an idyllic lakeside holiday cottage complex in Callington, SE Cornwall. With tons to do on site + hot tubs in all cottages, you will never be short of options. Please note total occupancy is limited to 19 adults plus two children.
Renting these cottages for a group/family get-together is a great idea. The largest cottage, Gulliver is big enough for everyone to meet up in. But having other cottages where some guests can return to (all with full facilities) can be very stress-relieving!
Trehill has a Stunning hilltop location in the heart of the Tamar Valley with free on-site fishing & great leisure facilities!

Let down by the owner
The location and venue was really nice. It had some nice little touches such as the pond which you could fish from and snowy the donkey it also has some beautiful veiws (although could have trimmed back the stinging nettles).
We arrived half an hour early and the owners were really nice and welcoming on arrival. They informed us about the pool and how we had to book etc.
The first morning my brother and his girlfriend wanted to use the gym however didn’t open till 9:30 so they went for a run instead. On there run they bumped into the female owner and spoke to her about the gym. She was then really rude to them and said that it needs to be booked and that this should have been passed on. Also said “this is the problem with large groups the message never gets passed on)
Later that evening we were all sat round on the grass with some music playing. It wasn’t very loud at all. She then came over to say that it was to loud and that the fishermen were complaint about it. (The only person fishing at the time was my uncle and he said he couldn’t even hear the music when we told him)
She then picked up the speaker and turned it off herself.
The next morning my boyfriend had booked the gym 10-11. 10 minutes before his session finished she come in to tell him that the booking is only an hour.
Overall the place its self is beautiful but was let down by the female owner unfortunately because of this we won’t be visiting again. Didn’t go above and beyond or go the extra mile to make their guest feel welcome.
