About the neighbourhood
Manor Cottage is set in the heart of Botelet Farm, a family owned farm in rural Cornwall. There are 300 acres to explore at Botelet Farm, and therapeutic massage is offered on-site, in a dedicated treatment room. There are fantastic beaches to explore - quiet coves on the South coast approximately 6 miles away, or a 35 minute drive takes you to the golden sandy surfing beaches of north Cornwall. Visit historic National Trust properties and the Eden Project, and enjoy ambling in pretty Cornish coastal towns. We are always happy to give recommendations for eating, drinking, visiting and activities during your stay at Botelet.
Getting around
It is definitely advisable to bring a car with you, we are located in a rural area with the nearest villages being about 15 minutes drive away. There are wonderful places to explore nearby from the Eden Project to local beaches, National Trust properties or surfing on the golden north coast sandy beaches. If you wish to hole up for your stay, step out across the 300 acres of fields and woodland at Botelet and enjoy panoramic views from the top of Bury Down hill fort then a car is not essential, but it is certainly helpful for getting around and picking up groceries.
