What a credit to Karen our host , previous reviews say it all, we were there for a wedding other than that we just sat back and enjoyed the property did not need to go anywhere else . short 10 minute walk to the cafes etc

Hampden House is a beautiful cottage located on the river front and a short stroll from the main shopping strip. Abundantly laden citrus and fruit trees surround the house, with stunning views of the escarpment. Inside, every detail has been thought of, all the kitchen staples are provided and more! Lovely treats, decadent toiletries, sumptuous beds with electric heating, piles of wood for the fire. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.
