The Kangaroo River Nature Reserve is just next to our property and it has beautiful walking trails through creek beds down to the main Kangaroo River. Our property has an abundance of gorgeous scribbly gum trees which provide habitat for many Australian birds and our resident Kingfishers. It is also a special habitat for native wildlife including kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, possums, goannas, frogs and wallabies.
This tiny home is managed by the people at Tiny Away. Tiny Away integrates the concept of tiny houses with eco-tourism. It stems from our desire to allow everyone a chance to experience tiny living in the midst of nature yet be able to stay in comfort.

A small little home with the daily necessities and miniature life enjoyments covered situated on a bush and farm land. The wildlife of kangaroos hopping about are a delight to watch, and their friendly sheep are a cute pair. As there's deck chairs and wood stumps, you can enjoy the scene relaxing or over a fire at night (fireban permitting). There's a lake nearby as well and the main town isn't far off. I'd definitely come back for another retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life again.
