Broger's End is located in the beautiful Upper Kangaroo Valley, which is far enough from the village to be very quiet and peaceful, but close enough to pop in for dinner at a nice restaurant, to visit shops, museum etc. The farm is along the river, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside.

Perfect serenity and comfort
Set in one of the most picturesque riverside locations, this lovingly restored farm Shed is the perfect place to escape to- with or without the kids! We loved the open plan kitchen, and the outdoor pizza oven- with easy access to the garden and chooks for extra ingredients. Next time we will bring the dog !

Peaceful country retreat
Loved our time at this well-stocked pet-friendly retreat - nice to switch off from the TV (although good free wifi still available). Comfy beds and gorgeous evenings outside under the pergola with wine and woodfire pizzas. Look out for the local wombat who ambles past at dusk on his way to the river!

Peaceful retreat
A group of six spent a wonderful weekend in this peaceful part of our country. Fully self contained we catered for all our meals with the help of fresh eggs from the chicken coup and produce from the garden . Whilst the mornings were crisp it was lovely to walk the laneways during the day. A short trip into kangaroo valley to sample some of the local hospitality and then bunkered down at night for a night filled good food, wine and laughter of good friends. My favourite- the heated flooring in the bathroom and the cosy fire. Thank you for this wonderful Eco-friendly accomodation .

An idyllic country escape
This amazing property, nestled in the Kangaroo Valley, is incredibly picturesque, cute, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed a weekend escape from Sydney (less than two hours of scenic driving) with our young family. The shed provides everything you could need - amazing coffee machine, cot, plentiful kitchen equipment, extremely comfortable beds - while the gardens, chickens, and a swim in the river all provided great outdoor entertainment. The eco credentials and rustic aesthetic were also really inspiring - I'll be adopting some of their ideas at home, too.

French Rustic Feel
Beautiful surrounds, rustic charm, idyllic setting, great fireplace and a herb and veggie garden as far as the eye can see. Bulls, cows and alpacas greet you on the way in. The surrounds are a bright green with a mountainous backdrop. It is slightly tricky for guests travelling from interstate/overseas not having bread, milk, eggs and basics for breakfast. There is a town ten minutes away but when you’re driving from the airport to your accommodation there’s not much time for initial food shopping. There are eggs from the chickens but only two the whole time we were there. Also the dishwasher was broken on arrival.

Authentic and Rustic Australian Experience
We were a group of 14 adults (from Sydney and also visiting guests from Denmark) that spent the weekend together. We had an incredible time cooking amazing feasts (including using the pizza oven!), playing hide and seek in the dark, meeting Albert the wombat, exploring the hills during our morning runs, Aboriginal storytelling by the cozy fireplace, swimming in the freezing Kangaroo River, and spending good quality time together. It was an amazing place to retreat, all the facilities are there for the entire group. The beds are very comfy. Every thing was in place, down to the details of candles and native flowers on the tables, amazing organic shampoos and body wash in the bathrooms! There was a cozy lounge with fireplace and a well equipped kitchen, and also a massive shed space filled with sunlight where we played pool and the piano. It is a bit hard to find the property in the dark, and being on a 22 seater bus it is hard to do a 3-point turn, so make sure you get clear directions and location if in a large group. Definitely recommend for a weekend getaway to recharge, relax and experience a rustic experience within the beautiful Australian landscape.
